New York State has it all – booming metropolises, majestic waterfalls, mountains, wine country, chicken wings. Yes, NYC is a magnet for tourists, but an exploration of the rest of the state can be equally thrilling. The Finger Lakes Wine Region is a vision of serene waters, quaint B&Bs, and pretty vineyards. Movie buffs will love Rochester, home of the George Eastman House and one of the world’s most comprehensive film archives. On your way to Niagara Falls, stop in Buffalo to fuel up on spicy wings.

Come visit our countryside farm in the historic Hudson Valley, original homestead dating back to 1850 on 25 bucolic pastured acres raising alpacas, llamas, sheep and goats. We offer llama/alpaca walks on trails offering scenic vistas, rolling hillsides and pastural settings. Our tours are 1 1/2 hr long introducing you and encouraging hands on our smaller, animals, followed by an hour hike with a llama or alpaca all to yourself. You will experience our very charamastic camelids while strolling through pastures, hopfield, meadows and woods for a unforgettable experience.
Such a wonderful fun day spent on the farm, we started off with visiting the smaller animals on the farm which were baby goats, chickens, alpacas, and the barn kitty Rascal! Andrea was a wonderful guide, gave the girls some awesome information about the animals and they asked her some questions as well. The hike was really nice, pretty mild hike, not hard at all. At the top we stopped for photos which was nice. The farm is beautifully kept and has so much history, we enjoyed it so much!

The largest urban zoo in the U.S., with over 6,000 animals within its 265 acres of parks, woods and streams.
The Bronx Zoo is so much fun! We went on a simulated dinosaur safari; saw a Komodo dragon; visited sea lions and gorillas in the Congo; went on monorail ride through the jungles of Asia. This zoo is absolutely a must-visit. It's only a 3.5 hour drive from north of Boston!

We visited the zoo yesterday and were very fortunate to see animals playing, eating and enjoying their environment. The elephants, bears, tiger with her 3 month old cubs, birds, panda, flamingos, and all the animals made the afternoon observing and reading the posted information about them, definitely a wonderful and educational experience. If you live in the area, visiting or just passing through, stop and visit the Zoo!

The barnyard closing with Dana, the staff member who gave us our tour, was excellent! Dana was superb with my four year old and six year old grandchildren. The children were able to pet and feed the goats, sheep, and chickens. They walked the goats and put all the animals in their pens for the night. Then Dana showed the children two eagles, an owl, and a hawk telling them several interesting facts about these birds of prey. Great visit. Highly recommend it!

Temporarily closed Animals from North and South America. Eagles, bison, sea lions, pumas, Andean bears, alligators and more. Plus the largest petting area in the tri-state area!
Great lil zoo- perfect outdoor activity during covid- spent about an hour and a half. We went on Friday at 3:30 pm and pretty much had the zoo all to ourselves. Bought a pre-timed ticket online. Staff were very nice. Beautifully landscaped. Especially enjoyed the aviary - beautiful parrots! Other highlights were the alligators, bears and warthog. Little petting zoo had lots of ducks, goats, and alpacas. Didn't have quarters or would have fed the cutie animals who were all giving us longing eyes. Parked (free) near the globe inside Flushing Meadow Park and quick 7 minute walk to the zoo.

a great place to help support helping animals while getting close up views of some wonderful creatures All the animals here are rescues and admission goes to helping care for them. The place was set up maze like so we could view the animals safely and social distance at the same time I love places like this as we saw various owls, eagles, falcons, vultures, woodpeckers and other birds as well as a couple of foxes and a bobcat. Well worth the visit
