So, at Starkey, they have a ton of campsites, each has a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. They also provide fire wood for all the campers, I recommend bringing a hatchet or an axe. The bathrooms were clean, and the showers get nice and hot. The camp sites are patrolled by rangers throughout the day, and all of them were super nice. They do provide trash cans to throw away your garbage, but beware, raccoons can open them, our trash bag tried to walk away the second night we were there. It was pretty quiet and super peaceful. Can't wait to go back!

This five mile long barrier island is pristine beauty and turquoise water. Great shelling lots of privacy if you want. Has a historic lighthouse that you can go up in one time a month for a tour check with Anclote lighthouse for info. The northern end of island has an isolated sandbar so if you are young and single that is where to mingle on the weekends. Southern end is crowded but pretty.

Robert K Rees Memorial Park

Reviewed By Snowbirders - Spencer, United States

This park has a lot to offer. Kids are happy and content with all the playground equipment . Parking can be a problem but we usually just wait a few minutes and get a spot . We call it our "hot dog beach" because there is a nice gentleman that cooks hot dogs all day there we always patronize his stand. Thank you for keeping this stand opened for us hot doggers . The beach is nice too ! Never did see the boardwalk . Need to explore next time around.
