With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

New Mexico's FIRST Escape Room! Can you escape in less than 1 hour? This experience will test your limits! The objective is simple: work together, find clues, decode messages, and solve puzzles to complete the mission and ESCAPE!
We went to the New Mexico Escape Room with our 15-year-old granddaughter and we had a blast! In fact, we loved it so much the first time that we went back a second time later that week. The first time we managed to solve the Blackwell Manor puzzle (with only a few minutes to spare) but then we got stumped by the Bombshell puzzle. Oh well, that's for another time. Scenarios are extremely well done with lots of automation and puzzles to keep you involved. Good for both a small or large group. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have never done the escape room thing. My son, his wife and my nephew are frequent escape room junkies and they took us to ABQ Xcape Room and we had a great time. Now we are addicted. The event can take up to an hour if you have to. We chose the Camp Crystal Lake theme that is themed for the Friday the 13th movies and it had some moments of screams...girls and guys both. We laughed so hard and we finally solved all the clues and made it out. Great time and our host I think his name was Tyler did a really good job explaining things and letting know about other rooms that they have available. The locations is a little off the beaten path, but well work google mapping it and have a great time.

The lady who was working there was super friendly and very helpful I wish I got her name. We were able to just walk in and get a room right away. The room we did was just the right level of challenging with still being able to finish within the hour. Definately worth it!

We had such a great time celebrating my daughter’s 13th birthday. We booked the full party room experience. The room is decorated and the food, drinks and party space are amazing!! We booked two rooms for the party and had fun in both. The staff are absolutely wonderful to work with. Our game master was Keaton. He helped us when we got stuck a few times in The Lost City while my daughter and her friends were in Murder Mansion. Even my 6 year old enjoyed figuring out the clues! We will definitely be back to check out the other rooms!! Thank you for such a great experience.

Tara loves the magic of creating fun and joyous experiences for her guests. These non traditional Creative Scavenger Hunts are offered in Arizona, New Mexico, Joshua Tree and Hawaii. Tara is a guide/storyteller/filmmaker and creative instigator.
This is the most wonderful scavenger hunt! We really enjoyed the thrill of the chase! We were two teams and the hunt took us all over the Plaza and Central Santa Fe! We learned and saw a lot of art and culture that we probably wouldn’t otherwise have seen! The only caveat was the weather - cold and wet and it hailed while we were out and about but it was a good excuse to go indoors and talk to locals to see if they could give us some information or tips. The locals were extremely helpful and friendly in that regard! Made us want to look further into Santa Fe and New Mexico history!! Thank you to the staff that set this up and guided us along the way!! So glad we did this!! Was worth every penny!! ~ The Viking Team!
