Whether you are looking for sun-drenched beaches or outdoor activities in beautiful countryside, New Jersey has plenty to offer. Those who love the great outdoors should head for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, which runs along the Delaware River for forty miles. Here you can go rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking or fishing, or simply admire the stunning waterfalls. There is a huge range of hiking trails to choose from as well as historic sites to visit. In winter, you can enjoy cross-country skiing near Blue Mountain Lakes, and birdwatchers might be lucky enough to catch sight of bald eagles. If you are looking for a change, visit one of New Jersey's eleven lighthouses that are open to public, such as the one in Cape May. For art and history enthusiasts, New Jersey State Museum in Trenton has historic artifacts and American fine art from the nineteenth century to the present day as well as a Planetarium.

This was a super fun family night out! The show was enjoyed by my 9 and 11 year olds just as much as the adults! The comedians get the audience involved, and it's just hilarious and fun! Highly recommend!

McCarter Theatre Center is recognized as one of the country’s leading theaters, and is the only organization in the country that is both a professional producing theater and a major presenter of the performing arts. With this identity comes a unique commitment to creating, developing and producing new work for the stage, reinvestigating classical theatrical repertoire, and bringing the best of the world’s performing artists to Central New Jersey.
I have attended many concerts (jazz, classical, folk) as well as plays at this venue. There are two theatres, both are intimate with good sight lines and acoustics. The programming is excellent. A Christmas Carol is a wonderful tradition to start or continue! Great restaurants and bars nearby.

Mayo Performing Arts Center is Northern New Jersey's premier performing arts organization. Presenting concerts, dance, jazz, theatre, family shows and more in the heart of downtown Morristown.
We go to Mayo 2 or 3 times a year and have always enjoyed the shows. They have a large selection of shows to choose from during the year so there is something that should please everyone. The theater is comfortable with good sound system especially for an older building. Parking is convenient especially if have dinner before a show, you can park next door. There are public lots not far from the theater as well as other lots from which there are shuttles. The last show we saw was Celtic Angels. It was entertaining with 5 women singers with beautiful voices. There was a wonderful fiddle player as well as 5 extradordinary male dancers. Celtic angels similar to Celtic Woman with maybe singing more recent Irish songs intetmixed with some traditional ballads. There was one odd issue is that for a few seconds bright lights from the stage would shine directly into the audience making it difficult to see. Mayo is higher recommended.

We heard of Cow Town rodeo in our back yard and went. What a great event. You sit really close to the action and feel part of the action. We loved the prayer to Jesus Christ for safety over everyone. Keep it up, that is where blessings come from. The atmosphere was very friendly, people all around us enjoyed it yelling and getting involved supporting the riders. We went many times after the first time, took South African family with us and they were blown away. The oooo and aaaaa’s are very entertaining. We went to the New York PBR event in Madison Square Gardens and I must say we enjoy Cow Town as much. We will be bringing my son and friends for his birthday this year. He has learned to crack a whip and learned to rope. See you again soon.
