The theater is great!! This was the second show I’ve seen there. Just super. It’s cozy and quaint, but offers top tiered talent from New York.

A small stretch of the Delaware River: great for canoeing.
My rating of this "thing to do" is based on historical significance, not hiking, biking, or boating. I learned a little about the canal from the New Hope friend I was visiting, since we kept crossing it as we went other places over the weekend. But when I was walking alone along Main Street, with all its inviting shops and eateries, I came up to a sign reading "Delaware Canal State Park." At the top of the steep stone staircase beside the sign I discovered a portion of the canal that appears to be part of extensive preservation/restoration efforts. Several buildings involved in the operation of the canal were indicated by signs but not open for viewing, at least on the Saturday I was there. The canal itself was totally dry. Across the footbridge was a visitors' center and a parking lot. I liked reading about the history of the canal and seeing right there one of the locks that made canal traffic possible. It's a beautiful spot, well worth a 10 or 15 minute visit.

I went here in early September to photograph some flowers and butterflies. Flowers were a little past their prime but the trails were very nice hike in the woods with alot of shade and not crowded. They do not allow dogs I would have loved to take my dogs. The trails are reasonably marked and all roads lead back to the main office and small gift shop. There was a plant sale there the day I visited and you can purchase many different perennials and small trees for a reasonable price. Bring your own water as nothing on the trails. I did notice a lack of garbage cans and placed all my bottles in my backpack but it could be an issue. Very few butterflies but I did capture photos of an incredibly photogenic praying mantis I will visit in spring next year. Across the street is sheep farm which is only a hop skip away. I believe it is associated with Washington Park. also very nice walking paths. Not good for wheelchair on wooded paths but there is paved areas. Little gazebos and seating areas sporadically placed

This is a very nice walk in good weather, with picturesque New Hope on one end and pretty Lambertville, New Jersey on the other. The views of the Delaware River are lovely, and many people float around the river in tubes. Shops and good restaurants in both towns, many antique shops in Lambertville.

Nice set up they have here in the fields of Bucks County. Perfect time blueberry picking, and have a cutting garden for fresh flowers. Nice store as well. Had cider ice for the first time ever, delish.

The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad is nestled 37 miles outside of Philadelphia in Bucks County’s premiere destination; New Hope, Pennsylvania. A Delaware river town chock-full of niche shops and resturants, a fitting locale for a day or night out with friends & family. We provide a glimpse into travel of a bygone era on historic trains traveling over tracks that were laid in 1891 by the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad.
We went with our granddaughter on the noon Santa Express on 11/25. The experience itself was very good, but fairly expensive for what you get. The experience is basically a old-fashioned train ride with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa and Mrs. Claus were excellent and really played the part well. The staff on the train were friendly. You get a small cup of hot chocolate and a cookie. When you include the pictures, you are looking at $250 for 2 adults and a kid. Oh yeah, I forgot the $20 for parking. I realize this is a business and it must be expensive to maintain an operating railroad, but to get you for parking in addition to the $250 is a bit overkill in my opinion.,

We went here for a cocktail before going to a concert. Would surely go hear again. The only thing was that there was originally 2 shows booked but they narrowed it down to 1 show due to travel constraints with the band so that made the tables a little too close for comfort.

The mission of the Bucks County Children's Museum is to create a fun, educational, and hands on environment for children, parents, and schools that celebrates the unique history and culture of Bucks County. Come visit us today!
I go here at least three times a month with my five year old and she absolutely adores it. It is indeed a sweet, little museum but the key word here is little, be prepared for that. Whilst there are a few different interactive exhibitions for the children to wander around, there is quite limited spaces for adults to sit. Also, although they have some good ideas going for this museum, it is in a desperate need of a little do over - some of the xray sheets in the 'doctors area' need to be reprinted and the interactive 'cleaning the river' screen needs to be fixed. Just little details like this need to be paid closer attention too, but perhaps I have just picked up on these after spending so much time here!
All in all, if you have small children, this is the ideal place to bring them to kill a few hours. Sweet and adorable and in such a fun and unique town in PA.

Enjoyable tour of the Parry Mansion and it was Free! The only thing I noticed was tours are done every 30 minutes and they start the tour earlier if they have people waiting so if you go and come back at the time listed on the door they may have already started the next tour. We saw this happen twice.

Rice Market is a hidden gem in Bucks County. There is virtually no signage to find it, we heard about it by word of mouth and had to go with someone, in the know in order to find it. Get there early since parking is abundant but you don't want to walk far with all your purchases!
There is something here for everyone. Looking for a handmade gift, with a name printed on it? They will do it on the spot. Looking for clothing from kids to adults, they have it. Looking for food, got that too. You can easily spend hours walking around. An excellent weekend trip.
