This is a simply and emotional monument that can help explain the die-heart sacrifice during wwII. Please respect the seriousness and atmosphere, good to be prepared with an authentic account of history.

I've been coming here since I was a child. We love the donuts and usual leave with 2 or 3 dozen. All of the homemade pies and pastries are delicious. Cider available to purchase by the cup. Apples of course are always great and pick your own is a must!

Complexity: A Puzzling Adventure An Escape Room type activity in Farmington, Connecticut Search the room, Find the clues, Solve the puzzles, Complete the mission! It is a great way to: Celebrate a birthday Engage in team building and be considered awesome for choosing it as your company event.
We had a group of six, five of whom had never done one of these before. It was super fun, everyone contributed to the solution. I can't imagine doing this with a much smaller group, 6 felt like a good number. We thought we would make it without any hints, but in the last few minutes it became clear we needed help - we escaped with maybe 90 seconds to spare. We all agreed we'd like to come back and try one of the other rooms. We did the Cat Burglar room. We were there about an hour and a half in total.

My husband and I did The Book of Spells room for Valentine’s Day and had a blast. Challenging and clever clues, with really impressive quality props. Staff was super friendly. We liked that you could choose to have the room to yourselves (as opposed to being placed with strangers). We will definitely be back.
If you’re new to escape rooms, you should probably have at least 3 or 4 people for this room.

This museum houses a large collection of French Impressionist paintings.
Very nice historical visit with a guided tour. Take the tour during the spring when everything is flowering.

Walnut Hill park is a beautiful place anytime of the year. The landscaping was done by architect Fredrick Olmstead who also landscaped Central Park NYC. The park once had a public swimming pool with a fountain at the center that doubled as a skating rink in the winter months. Today this area is a beautiful garden. The West side of the park has a hill perfect for sledding. The jogging and walking paths are all well maintained with exercise equipment stationed around the track. The rose garden is best in the early summer. It is a great place to exercise, enjoy a picnic or just sit on one of the many benches and relax. There is a WW 1 monument at the top of the hill. There is a shell concert stage that the city offers performances during the summer months. It is a popular spot for wedding photography.

The 'Res itself is a an easy walk, flat and always near the water with great views, lots of sky, free parking and not too challenging. It can also be used to reach the Heublein Tower from the south side following the MMC Trail (Metacomet-Monadnock Trail) Blue Markers or south on the same trail.
On weekends the lots get full(er) late morning to l=mid afternoon, so plan accordingly.

I saw a picture of the waterfall online and went to check it out. It was very pretty! There is a short loop trail too that was plowed. Glad I checked it out!

New Britain Stadium is the home of the New Britain Rock Cats, the AA affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.
New Britain Stadium is a fun ballpark. Plenty of close. By parking. Nice staff. Comfortable seats with good views of the game. The concession menu was rather limited but almost e everything else about the park is great. The team plays in the independent Atlantic League and the quality of play is very good.
