With German names on the street signs, summer bier gartens and the annual Wurstfest, New Braunfels blends the character of its German namesake with the charm and beauty of Texas Hill Country. Old World heritage is abundant in the Historic District of Gruene, featuring the ruins of the original Gristmill and live music at the Gruene Hall. Those in search of more modern fun can check out the Schlitterbahn waterpark, spelunk in the Natural Bridge Caverns or test the waters at Canyon Lake.

A Spectacular Hill Country Golf Experience. Situated off the shores of Lake McQueeney, The Bandit Golf Club is a 30-minute drive from downtown San Antonio. Freeway access to Austin & Houston makes The Bandit the perfect location to enjoy an unforgettable round of golf in the Texas Hill Country. Noted architect Keith Foster sculpted 6,928 yards of golf from the longest tees, playing to a par of 71. Multiple sets of tees ensure the course is suited for players of all ages and abilities. The Bandit rates as a “Top 10 Public Course in Texas” by Golfweek magazine, with significant elevation changes & natural water hazards throughout.
Golf course is fun while being challenging. Probably should have taken the marshall's advice and moved up a tee box. Still it was fun. Greens were very very fast but in great condition. Will certainly play this again.

Amazing family friendly time. This is a family run business. The owner, his wife, and their kids are all amazingly friendly and pleasant. The experience they provided couldn't be better. My 7 year old was able to ride his own horse led by the trail guide and my 8 year old daughter was able to ride her own horse by herself. The horses are all very calm and it was a GREAT time.
