With German names on the street signs, summer bier gartens and the annual Wurstfest, New Braunfels blends the character of its German namesake with the charm and beauty of Texas Hill Country. Old World heritage is abundant in the Historic District of Gruene, featuring the ruins of the original Gristmill and live music at the Gruene Hall. Those in search of more modern fun can check out the Schlitterbahn waterpark, spelunk in the Natural Bridge Caverns or test the waters at Canyon Lake.

Fantastic selection and great people there. LOTS of different things, antiques, etc. The MOST fantastic wind chimes (from small to HUGE) you've ever seen and heard. We bought the soprano set -- someday we'll get the huge ones you have to hang from a tree!

This is a great store! Nicely laid out and a great selection. I ended up buying a Grimwold cast iron square egg pan—in great shape and $50, very reasonable (AND small and light enough to fit in our luggage on the plane! Fun place, even if you don't buy!
