Positioned at the eastern tip of the Costa del Sol, Nerja boasts nearly 10 miles of powdery beaches featuring activities like water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Although tourist-oriented, it hasn't been overtaken by high-rises, and its huge promenade delivers panoramic Mediterranean views.

Hemingway's is amazing, the selection of Cocktails and gins are superb. My favourite is the Espresso Martini and my wife loves the Whitley Neill Rhubarb and Ginger gin. The service is outstanding and all the staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to what complements your taste. The bar is spotless and follow all rules with social distancing and sanitising.

The Nerja Book Centre in Calle Granada 32, Nerja’s premier secondhand bookshop, has been serving the local community since 1983. Prices start from as little as €0.90, and you will also find first editions, rare and out of print books, copies signed by the author, and other collectable items. There are books in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, and many more.
Lesley’s secondhand bookshop is a great place to browse for any kind of book on any topic and for a very reasonable price. It has been established for many years which is an indication of how well it is run and how much it is valued by residents and visitors alike.

Cocktail bar open daily from 3pm till no earlier than midnight.Serving great cocktails and selection of beers and wines, soft drinks, Ben & Jerry ice creams, and light snacks. Not a restaurant by any means. 120 gins to choose from as well as Fevertree Tonics, Pool Table
My favourite bar in Nerja, have been returning for 10 plus years. One of only two places in Nerja to do ‘real cocktails’, not icy sugary over pours, but immaculate, well made cocktails. Gins (100 plus gins) - served in beautifully garnished goldfish bowls. The staff leave you wanting to return - it’s lovely to be recognised. Warm welcome, open late and a cool ambience. Always go here on the way out and the way home.

The beach has beautiful sand--tiny, rounded rocks that you sink your feet into and let the ocean massage. Like a spa in the sun. And good foot showers so you can clean off and not track the sand into your car. Ummmm.
