Whether making guitars for god (Eric Clapton) or mortals, Martin Guitar does all 300 steps by hand.
If you have any interest in how guitars are made, then you should definitely head to Nazareth, PA and take the tour of Martin's guitar factory. The tour lasts about an hour and takes you right into the action. You get to see all phases of the guitar making process happening feet/inches away. The only downside to the tour was that the group size is to large so those in the back are left not really being able to ask questions. You do where a headset so you can hear the explanation but If you are in the back, you aren't even looking at what is being described. Also, there is quite a bit of interference through the headset at times. Still, you can get a good feel for the production process.
In addition to the factory tour, there is a museum which is quite nice. It tells the history of the Martin business and has memorabilia. We spent about 45 minutes in the museum. There is also a store and a nice area where you can try out a few of the guitars for yourself.

The State Theatre is a restored historic gem for the City of Easton. This venue brings into Easton the highest quality of entertainment and talent. If you are in the area you would be remiss not to stop by and see a show.

I love spending spring days here, great place to take the dog and walk the trails. Park is well maintained and there is an educational center not far from the parking lot. Worth a trip with the kids for some fresh air.

We stopped here after touring Martin Guitars and were happy we did. Took a short walk to see the animals which were all adorable. Everyone in the shop was friendly and helpful. Picked up some cheese spreads which were really yummy and had some delicious ice cream while there. There is limited seating inside so if it’s cold outside and crowded it may be difficult to eat your ice cream comfortably.

Fantastic! We bought more than just wine here. We also bought some dips for chips and cheese. Can't wait to open them up!

We purchased a Groupon and went on a Saturday. The Groupon was good for two take home glasses, two empty 32oz growlers and two 12oz beers while there. It's a really cool place and everyone working there was super friendly and helpful! Right from the start. We also did the 5pm tour (I signed up ahead of time online) and we learned quite a bit. You can tell that the people who work there like their jobs and want quality. The beer is great and they have some local snacks for purchase. We did fill our two growlers before going home. Will definitely go back!

My family was in town to visit the Crayola Experience and we were a little early so we walked around the farmer's market. What an awesome little event! There were so many vendors and my entire family enjoyed every minute of it! If you're in Easton on a Saturday, definitely check it out! You can't go wrong, and you'll probably even find some stuff to bring home with you! The town-folk are very friendly and helpful!

The 1742 Whitfield House, which houses the Moravian Historical Society, is stunning! The Moravians have a fascinating history (the first religion to believe in the education of women and slaves), especially if one is interested in colonial Pennsylvania. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated and offer an insightful look into the daily life of people who otherwise might have been left in the margins of society. The Gray Cottage, on the same property, is the oldest Moravian building in America. It's a very well preserved authentic log cabin and if you ask nicely, the employees just might let you take a peek inside it! A great little gift shop as well - absolutely worth a visit!

An interesting museum featuring many early rifles, powder horns, lock plates and revolvers made by the Henry Family and local gunsmiths. Civil war history and memorabilia is also displayed. Located across the street, stands the John Joseph Henry House loaded with period antiques and well worth the tour. Attractions are only open limited hours so check before you go. Tours of the grounds, John Joseph Henry House and Summer Kitchen are generally on the third Sunday of each month in the Summer. Allow @ 90 minutes to tour the grounds and enjoy a freshly made snickerdoodle in the Summer Kitchen and Smoke House.

Grew up here in the 70's and 80's .....since the pool was redone the little kids love it ....the bath house is re done and is much better than before....they need chairs inside of the changing stalls and some other amenities - but they are getting there....
Outside there are some slides and other kid playground items such as a small jungle gym.
