My best friend and I took an Indian dance class complete with costume. We learned 3 different dances. This was one of the best things that we did while in India! The instructors were great and each dance was so much fun! A great way to experience Indian culture and also a little bit of a work out, lol! Cooking with Neha was a wonderful way to experience Indian cuisine. She is an excellent teacher with a warm and welcoming personality, and will make you feel at ease from the moment you step into her beautiful home. Her attention to detail really shines through — from the way she lays out ingredients and utensils in advance so you can focus on cooking, to the beautiful recipe booklet she gifts every participant at the end of class. Cooking with her not only taught us how to layer spices for maximum flavor, but gave us insight into Indian culture and lifestyle. Plus, the location gave us an excellent excuse to visit the pretty Hauz Khas neighborhood, which we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. All in all, an excellent way to spend a day in Delhi, and I can’t wait to recreate those recipes at home!
