The color of the water was blue, a very beautiful blue like a painting. And it is said that the water under the valley looked very different in various sections. There were actually three colors in total: blue, white and red.
It could take hours to walk around the valley and see all he three colors of water. However, this waterfall could fascinate anyone easily from any angle.
If you plan to enjoy the views to the fullest, be ready to take hours of walk!

この乙女の滝だけでなく、竜化の滝とか咆哮の滝とか、滝と吊橋が多い地区でした。ここも乙女の滝と云う割には水量も多くて豪快なものでした。最近は滝まで乙女の方が男の子よりも豪快で力強いのですねぇ・・・。

Something different from the premium outlets and the place is big. A lot of local Japanese and some international shops. But there are only a few restaurants and most have long line up during peak lunch hours. Must go if you like shopping.

We visited 6 November . You need climb up down slope and staircase about 15 minutes then you can reach suspension bridge . Not difficult to hiking , but highly recommend you wear hiking shoes or sport shoes . It's slippery .
Bridge was high and a little scaring if you look down from bridge . Perfect view to see autumn leave . Cannot stop to snap photos for such wonderful scenery .
End of bridge , turn to right and walk 3 minutes you will reach a deck . Can see a small waterfall from deck .

子供と孫と私たち夫婦で那須のホテルに2泊しました。子供がこの場所に行きたいと言うので、那須から行きました。結構遠かったでした。凄い道を通って、この場所に到着しました。最初は、ひどいところだと思いましたが、近くのオンボロ茶屋で団子とトコロテンを食して、しばらくの間、この場所にとどまりました。もと塩原城主の小山小太郎が、家老との争いに負けて、この場所に身を投げたようです。近くの養蜂家から蜂蜜を買って帰りました。

水量がそれほどあるとは思えない川の状態にしては、遠目にも水飛沫が見えるほどの景観でした。全長が８７ｍの吊橋ですが、七ツ岩と云われている巨岩の近くにあることから命名されたらしい。橋の色が擬木塗装されていて周辺の風景に上手く溶け込んでいるように感じた。駐車場にある足湯も中々良かった。遊歩道を進むと塩原温泉ビジターセンターへ到着出来ます。

The My family enjoyed the easy stroll on the trail down to the marsh and on the board walk around the marsh. It was cloudy the day we went but still pleasant. Even after heavy rains the night before the stairs leading down to the marsh were in good condition. Our two year old walked most of the way but needed to be put in the carrier for the uphill walk from the marsh to the parking lot.

We went there on 6 November . It's autumn red leave ! Perfect view of autumn leave . Bridge quite shake and a little scaring . 300 meter long of bridge . Worth to visit in autumn .
