Very lovely peaceful setting. The mass was just as we were leaving but all the areas around were also very pretty. People from all faiths were there to offer prayers. Must go.

Saptshringi nivasini mata is represented by a huge idol with 16 hands. Her Aura instantly attracts. We went there from Nasik on the way to Saputara. Road.is good. Ride to hill top is very smooth and approach road is excellent. There was huge rush and took us 2 hours even with the funicular. No social distancing in the Corona times, even though they insist on mask. Funicular is really a well maintained a well operated boon for the devotees. Its not a Rodeway but railway i think. I was carrying my mother who is 72 year old and physically frail. There is an arrangement for wheel chair along with escort for senior citizen with extra cost of INR100, which makes Darshan quite easy for them. Funicular rate is now INR 100 PP.

Vaitarna Dam is near JenJon Lake Vaitrana and the water for this dam is drawn from the biggest lake in the region - the mighty Upper Vaitarna. It is a magnificent sight to be standing on the banks of this great dam and observe various activities like fishing, bird watching, boating, children frolicking on its banks etc. The nearby JenJon Lake Vaitarna Resort arranges for various picnics to the dam.
It's a beautiful place. Rainy season is the best time to visit. My rainy season destination Igatpuri.

Ideally this is the best place to visit in Nashik after Brahmagiri trek in Trimbakeshwar. The administration should have repaired this place during Kumbh Mela. Tourists would have come in droves. Park your car at the Bottom and walk up the trail up. It is slippery, so wear good shoes. In the rainy season it is awesome for the selfie crazy crowd. But I love the winters. It is cold and the best season to visit. Carry lots of water. Because of the broken trail, I will not suggest small kids doing the trek. It takes 4 hours to up and come down.

This is basically bhaktniwas managed by 'Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Shegaon.' It is very big campus. In this campus there are 3 buildings, one very good temple of Gajanan Maharaj, garden, large sitting area, ample parking space. It is better than 70% hotels of trimbakeshwar at very cheap rates.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. We were very pleasantly surprised after visiting the museum. The entry fee of Rs. 100 per person. The guided tour is very much recommended. You can pay the guide whatever amount you like. We paid him Rs. 500 as we liked the information and the enthusiasm with which he was conducting the tour. I will surely recommend this place.

We visited this museum in July 2019 and it was worth a visit. I am being from an Army background, anything related to military thrills me a lot. You have to deposit your ID proof at the entrance and the entry is free. The place is quiet and you can see tanks, missiles, planes etc., in the museum complex.
