The mission of the museum is to teach and educate about the cost of freedom and honor those who paid its price.
Great airplane and military museum. There were also some great old automobiles. Lots of personal written histories of military people who have served. Great displays and very informative. There was a very interesting Eagle Scout project. Nampa is about 20 minutes away from Boise. The museum was very easy to find, lots of free parking and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

This is a really nice little museum with several really interesting and unusual exhibits. Quite a bit of local history and a lot of train history. It changes seasonally so go back often!

The Crescent Brewery, "Under the Bridge" in Nampa is our favorite neighborhood brewery. It is family run, very friendly and cozy. The beer offerings are interesting and varied. The feeling in the tasting room is authentic and old school. Also, there's a back patio overlooking the train-yard, which is fun in the summertime. We love the Crescent, and go there at every opportunity. They also have regular evening entertainment, (music and comedy) which enhances the whole experience - but all you really need is their great beer! We happily recommend the CRESCENT BREWERY in Historic Downtown Nampa.

the view is beautiful , the people are friendly, the wine is great and now they even have neat food blocks that are great for pairing with the wine. Have taken a wine hike with them and loved that as well. You get to taste the grapes off the vine and then have a taste of the wine it makes. So educational and fun to hike through the vineyard and then a fabulous catered lunch. One of my favorite places to take people
