We did a Bangkok temple tour and visit to bridge over the river Kwai. Pete was our tour guide and he is exceptional at what he does. He is very well known within the trade and if you’re with Pete you are a VIP. Kom was our driver and shuttled is to and from airport and our adventures! He is a great driver I would not want to drive there!

This is the high water mark for authentic experiences I have encountered in Asia over the years. This is NOT a cooking class, this is FAR FAR more. The cooking component is maybe 30% of the experience. This is an immersive experience with a real rural family, inside their lovely home compound and gardens, learning about their history and way of life. You have tea, chew betelnut in their pavilions, wander the gardens nibbling on plants and herbs, and yes finally you all cook together outdoors on a clay pot / charcoal system like in the old school. Then you eat together. If you want a commercial, soulless, cookie-cutter cooking class, there are plenty. But this experience is far more comprehensive, soulful, and unforgettable.

I am throughly stoked that I chose Thai Tour Guide to go with. My guide was Joy, and we visited the Grand Palace, several temples around the area, stopped by for some pork satay at a local market which we walked around in, and visited the flower market where I picked up flowers for cheap! Also went on a canal tour and fed cat fish. Joy is a fabulous and knowledgeable guide who took time to answer my questions and cater to my requests. It was just us two on the tour so it was nice to have personalised service. From the moment I reached out to Thai Tour Guide, Chob, Seth and Joy were on the ball with pre-tour planning. Everything was really smooth sailing before and during the tour. I'm definitely calling on these guys again!

The tour was great and began with an early pickup from our hotel and then on to a larger, more comfortable bus. Locations, where we went, were really fascinating and we loved learning more about Thailand's history. The cruise was just the icing on top of an amazing trip, with everything you can eat lunch buffet. Highly recommended in Thailand for all tourists! I would certainly recommend my friends and family on this.

This was our first time to visit Thailand and we all had a great time!Aey was very informative and brought us around the city and its marvelous temples.Both she and the driver made sure we all had ample time to enjoy the sites and didnt feel rushed.We were all seniors and had an older aunt who had some difficulty walking long distances,and Aey made sure she was not left out in our sightseeing. Overall, we had a marvelous time!
