My daughter and I had a class with Nao for my daughter's 14th birthday. It was a wonderful experience. Nao has great English. Nao managed to fit a fair bit into the 2 hour class, teaching us about drawing materials and the basics of drawing manga figures. She had lots of images to look at and get inspiration from and helped us create our own characters. The class gave my daughter more confidence in drawing her own manga characters. Definitely something we'll remember for a long time and a unique experience! The class isn't far from Nakano station and is very easy to find following the instructions on the website.

Kento is most definitely the perfect guide for late night adventures around Shinjuku. Highly personable with an enquiring mind and a lot of fun , I’m sooooo glad I stumbled into one of his tours . If a traveller wants to get to know the Golden Gai area , this is most definitely your man . The meal before was wonderful and somewhere I would never have discovered by myself - and cheap as ! This is the real thing , with a brilliant guide .
Nakano is known to be the "holy land of otaku". In contrast to Akihabara which has all the newest and most popular works of anime and its merchandise, Nakano is a place that has a series of much more maniacal anime merchandise. These include anime from older generations that are still loved to this day and the less mainstream anime. Unlike Akihabara, all the shops are huddled together in one area of Nakano, so you will easily be able to tick-off anime goods from your shopping list. Jump into the world of Otaku as you window shop for figures, cosplay costumes, second-hand books and games, fanzines and much more!

The tour guide was not needed if we were given a map of the theme park. I was looking forward to looking at the Winery but oh what a disappointment, Just a few empty barrels and at the end of the short walk through the walk way to the wine bar. No free samples and certainly did not have a french feel with a picture of St Marks Square Italy. Would have liked to look around the gardens but was hurried to the next cable car to the the top to the theme park not impressed. I had high hopes for this trip but felt let down., More toilet stops on the way there would have been good due to medication I struggled. More for families. Disney land and still building work being carried out. Would advise not to go but go to and spend more time at Hue, I did like the views on the cable cars going up and down.
