Known as the safari capital of Africa, Nairobi is an energetic, modern city that serves as a fascinating introduction to both wildlife and nightlife. Music clubs pulse with life, shops and markets bustle, and a mélange of restaurants will tempt your palate in this former Maasai watering hole. Top sights include the Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe Centre and the black rhinos of Nairobi National Park. The compact city center is safe to walk in and taxis make other areas accessible.

Mombasa is the oldest city (but the second largest city) in Kenya. It offers intrepid travelers a heady cocktail of fun, comprising of a cosmopolitan city, a major African port, ancient history, culinary delights, crazy party scene (locals call it “Mombasa Raha” – Swahili for “Mombasa Fun” or “Joy”), diverse cultures, great weather, fabulous beaches. Mombasa is reknown for its remarkable pearly white sandy beaches, historical sites, ancient architecture, dolphin sporting trips, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and is also the largest port in Eastern and Central Africa. It is said to be founded in 900 AD. For context, this is the same century when: Charlemagne the Great was crowned Emperor of the West by Pope Leo III; Algebra was invented; the Danish Vikings sacked London; and Viking chieftain, Rurik, led raids on Northern Russia and founded the first significant dynasty in Russian history called the Rurik Dynasty.

I enjoyed one of the world's most spectacular, breathtaking and riveting wonders which is the wildebeest migration in the Mara. The trip was facilitated by the Mara Nomad Safaris. What an experience! A moment to reminiscence for eons.
Meru National Park is wild and beautiful. Straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams, it is an especially beautiful area of Kenya. It has diverse scenery from woodlands at 3,400ft(1,036m) on the slopes of Nyambeni Mountain Range, north east of Mt. Kenya, to wide open plains with meandering riverbanks dotted with doum palms.

I was a little anxious about doing this trip alone but everyone was so friendly and I had so much fun. I opted to go snorkelling with a member of the boat crew. We were out for almost an hour and I saw the most amazing marine l upife. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins, although not for long. Lunch on Wasini Island was really good, plenty of food and the service was great. My overnight stay at Shimoni Reef Lodge was just perfect, the staff went out of their way to welcome me and make my stay memorable. The food was wonderful. I took the opportunity to visit the slave caves and was escorted there personally by Nyinge who worked at the Lodge, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a unique two day experience

The southern part of Mombasa, popularly known as South Coast, is a less traveled, quieter area than the immediately north of Mombasa (“North Coast”), partially due to its logistical dislocation from the island-bound city, to which it is connected not by a road bridge but by the steady-but-slow Likoni ferry service. South Coast has a more rustic feel than the vibrant, boisterous, ever awake North Coast, with quieter, very clean, pristine beaches, a national Park with the highest density of elephants in Kenya, sky diving and much more.

Had an amazing and unforgettable experience with Mara Nomads Safaris. The team is committed to ensuring that you get value for your money and have an adventurous time, while maintaining high levels of professionalism and friendliness.
Mount Kasigau, located in Taita-Taveta County is part of the Eastern Arc Mountains bordering the southernmost reaches of Tsavo West National Park. Located a third of the way between the Taita Hills and the Indian Ocean it rises 1600m above the Taru Desert, with savannah plains below giving way to its high montane forest. The hill is an ideal hideout and awesome hiking destination.

Everything that exists in Kenya we saw! Lions, Zebras, Giraffes ( beautiful, graceful giraffes, ) Buffaloes, wild beast, impalas, gazelle and all the rest of the family.
