Hubby and I had a whole day ski lesson with Spencer. A very small group which was great. Spencer was a fabulous teacher, with much patience. His skiing knowledge was A1. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shiga International Ski School, they are very professional, affordable and experienced.

I signed up for an intermediate group snowboarding lesson as a refresher after having not snowboarded for at least 5 years. It turned out to be a private lesson with Ben as there were no other participants. I was unsure whether I would remember how to snowboard after a number of years but Ben was always encouraging and was quick to identify to mistakes and bad habits I was making. His advice and attitude to simply have fun made the 2-hour lesson enjoyable and it was a great time of getting to know Ben during that short period of time as well. Thanks for the great time!

The Kiso Ontake Health Lab conducts a number of tour programs that "stay," "exercise such as walking," and "become healthy both physically and mentally" by taking advantage of the valuable natural environment and local resources of the altitude 1000m to 1500m and Kaida Kogen. Masu! Healthy walks walking with Kiso horses, lodging-type wild vegetable mushroom walks, cycling and forest road mountain biking, snowshoe (winter), bouldering, and "Lab Forest" provide many activities such as walking, hammock, archery and rope crossing, and climbing trees doing. There is an office near National Highway 361 near Kaida Kogen “Kisouma no Sato”. Please feel free to drop in.

Merry is extremely patient, talented and wonderful! My fiance and I had a 4 hours private lesson with him and he paced it amazingly well, constantly correcting our form, technique, supporting us and giving us useful tips and encouragement as and when we needed it. Truly a great instructor who has a lot of passion for the sport and we enjoyed his lesson so much!

We did snowboard lessons for 2 days and got the same instructor both days so that was great because he was familiar with our skills and level and tailored the lessons to us. He showed us around the mountain, we got lessons on how to ride powder, carving, medium jumps (which I landed!), butter skills, side hit tricks, half pipe (just making fun turns along the walls), riding bumps and moguls! The experience was Super fun, affordable and certainly improved our confidence! We were practicing our buttering tricks for the rest of our trip! I would definitely recommend taking ski or snowboarding lessons with the Nozawa Onsen Ski school!
