One of the largest towns and most visitors’ first stop on Fiji, Nadi is a culturally diverse city of 30,000. Nadi Beach is a wide strand, perfect for lazing in the sun and watching sunsets. Nearby Natadola Beach is Fiji’s most spectacular and is popular for swimming and body surfing. Other paces to visit in Nadi include Sri Siva Subramaniya, the largest Hindu temple in the Southern hemisphere, the Sleeping Giant orchid gardens and Waqadra Botanical Gardens.

Normally, I would not do a cruise - I am a sailor but now without a yacht. I have already sailed the Mamanucas but never got up to the Yasawas. So when I saw the special price for this cruise I decided to do it. And got the biggest surprise when my husband, who never does cruise ships, joined me! And neither of us were disappointed! I can't even complain about 1 thing! The ship, cabin, lounge, restaurants etc were all clean, excellent condition and comfortable. The crew were amazing! And the food was even better than we had expected! And drinks were cheaper than any you could buy in a resort, no need to sneak any on board if had planned to (which we didn't!)

To be fair our expectations was high upon arrival. We had heard a lot about kiwi-experience that runs through New Zealand, for example that you meet a lot of people to travel with, get discounts on activities and get to meet locals who gives you local tips ;). We started on Robinson Crusoe island which is standard, we got picked up at our hostel by a taxi and apparently it was just me, my boy friend and another luckily very kind lady. However when we arrived to the island and checked in, our itinerary said we had to pay 70$ per person for a meal plan which turned out to be 84$ per person. I called Feeje experience and all they said was that they hadn't updated the itinerary (or the website) in a while... This was only one of many things that apparently was "wrong" in the itinerary. We felt a little bit fooled since we booked the tour expecting the schedule that was publiced on the website to be correct. Unfortunately more thing has been excluded than just changed to other activities. Overall we found the tour to be very overpriced likewise we're the dinner we were expected to buy at the resorts we stayed at. Luckily our guides understood us and made a few stop for us to buy food at other places. Without our tour guide and our driver the tour wouldn't have been much. Those two really did a good job.

The cruise takes in the majestic Yasawa Islands and spends time at the strikingly beautiful Modriki and Sacred Islands. It’s not just nature that will have you captivated on this cruise; you’ll get to know and love the traditional Fijian culture! To ensure you have the best possible cruise experience, we use 'flexible cruising'. What this means is that we're prepared to alter our itineraries, either when necessary, or when some exciting opportunity arises. if some special event taking part in a local Village, which you really should see, then we will alter our cruise route to take you there. If we think that our destined anchorage for the night is not going to be as sheltered as a bay on the other side of the island, we'll up-anchor and move. Cruising through a region of coral lagoons and isolated island anchorages is weather dependent and so, at times, our itineraries may need to be altered. We'll always endeavor to ensure all highlights of each cruise are enjoyed by our guests.

We spent 7 days on the Fiji Princess for my husband and I’s 50th birthdays. From beginning to end, it was fantastic! The crew was so nice (especially Nau!), the boat well equipped, and the destinations each day were insane! We felt like everyday we were walking into a postcard! Rooms are small, but efficient. We went with an Orchid room which are a bit bigger AND had a small minibar that was stocked each day (included in price of room)). We met a lot of fun people and some that we are now Facebook friends with today! From island to island, you can do as much or as little as you want...swim, snorkel, or lay around! And we loved that it was very casual...flip flops, swim suits, and sundresses! Highly recommend booking this! Bula!

This is not a lux experience - but it is a great tour that gets you lots of activities in a short period of time at an exceptional value since the tour includes, your guide, a driver, accommodations, and some meals plus the activities. The village visit was an honor; to be welcomed into their home, to learn the customs, and enjoy the great feast they put out for us was an amazing experience. The accommodations on Robinson Crusoe, were basic, but exceptionally clean and Uprising resort was great. The only complaint, or perhaps observation, is we did spend a lot of time driving. Although I am not sure how the tour could be reworked to experience all the great Fijian activities without the driving, but that would be me only suggestion for improvement.
