If the mention of Mykonos doesn’t immediately bring to mind bright white buildings, turquoise skies and tanned bodies lining golden sandy beaches, you’ve been living under a rock. The most popular Greek Island in the Aegean Sea is all about energy and attracts a diverse and upscale crowd that thrives on its stylish nightlife. During the day some privacy can be had in the more secluded north beaches, but the south beaches are all party. Ski, jet-ski, windsurf, horseback ride, parasail or just save up your energy for the evening ahead, like most of your fellow travelers in Mykonos.

In April 2017, just before Easter, Mykonos Brewing Company started fermenting its first batches of beer at their new, state of the art brewhouse on the island of Mykonos in Greece. With a combination of Greek malt and Belgian caramel wheat, hard to find hops and with the mythological story of the Giants on their backs, the Mikonu beer was born!
Heard about the brewery from our Villa Concierge (Apollo, great guy) so knew we had to go - we were not disappointed. Lovely brewing team who made us welcome and are clearly very proud of what they do (and rightly so) - excellent beer is being produced. Yoshi was more than happy to show us around although we arrived unexpectedly and he enthusiastically explained their brewing techniques and recipes. The bottled beer is great but we also discovered draft Mykonu Pale Ale at Captain's Bar on the watefront in Mykonus Old Town - a fabulous brew and for a couple of Brits way better than the usual Greek Alpha and Mythos beers Highly recommended - best wishes for growing success of your brewery - Yamas!

A must do while in Mykonos! Sunset time is the best time to visit Little Venice, preferably latest by 7.30pm to have an hour to watch the full sunset while enjoying a refreshing cocktail at one of the cafes situated on the shore of this location. Best enjoyed in a romantic mood with your loved one, or a flirt, easily found in Mykonos ;))

This is the kind of beach that you can visit while in Mykonos, if you want to avoid big crowds without sunbeds/umbrellas, and instead lay down on the amazing yellow sand, and enjoy your day while reading a book or diving in the sea. There is a tavern on this beach where you can enjoy traditional food. You need to have a 25 min drive to get here from the centre of the city, but the road is easy, unlike other beaches where one has to take a lot of small curved roads. Be prepared to be without internet while here, cause the area does not have internet reception. Better have a book or good company with you for this beach ;)

One of the most iconic beaches, not only in Greece, but in the world! At Paradise Beach you will experience the best parties, restaurants, bars, activities and the #14 best club worldwide!
Personally, Paradise Beach was my favorite place in Mykonos. The beach is amazing and clean and the bar had a great menu (affordable and delicious). The sunbeds and umbrellas are affordable just 20 Euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. At 4pm the party starts with great music as well. Will come back for sure.

Haha yeah, I froze to death in the water of this beautiful beach, but it worth it. We enjoyed the blue waters combined with the wind and the rocks.

Wow!.. it looks so over loved now ...I holidayed in Mykonos in June/July of 1978 .. Super Paradise was empty of any buildings ..and just a few gay men and others knew of it, we took our own refreshments ... it was paradise then ...a fishing boat used to take us from Mykonos town in the morning and return in the afternoon

Ignore the stroppy reviews. The staff were lovely and attentive for our group of 12. It is expensive with beds ranging from €35-150 for front row cabana. Service was attentive all day. You can pay by credit card despite a review here to the contrary. Lunch served at the bed or in the small restaurant with different menus at each. Fresh and tasty. Cocktails are well made and again fresh. It’s no cheaper than all the glitzy beaches further west but the beach is nicer and the water less rocky. Nice swims in the small bay.

This beach was a five-minute walk from our hotel, Bellissimo Resort. We rented loungers with an umbrella from Hippie Fish for the day right in front of the water. Hippie Fish was wonderful, they bring drinks and food right to you, their prices weren't unreasonable for the location. The beach is a little rocky so best if you have water shoes. Once you get past the initial rocks, it is fine. But it is fun for looking for sea glass and interesting rocks and shells. We did not go to other beaches, but saw a few and they are more of a party scene. This was not, so if you want loud music, crowds, this may not be the beach for you.
