Dating from 1896, this is the only Jewish temple remaining in the city.
We got there about 11:00 AM ( note that the Syngagouge opens from 10:30 AM to 3:30 AM). It's so fascinating to know that Rangoon has some good number of Jewish back in the 1900s and interestingly Israel has a very good diplomatic relationship with Burma back then. Once in the downtown of Yangon this is a place where people should pay a visit! It's a great piece of history!

This museum is in Thanbyuzayat ,30 miles from Mawlamyaing. It's valued 4000kyats of admission fee, the staffs are very kindly and helpful. He begins to show us the first impression of 3D corner where we was photo ,look alike we were on track of the real railwals when reaching the brink of high cliff. There are exhibition about how POWs were living at those time of construction the dead railway line from here to merge with the line from thailand in the middle.vicinity is also interesting to explore, threre is real locomotives on the rail. The real track links between Thanbyuzayat and Mawlamyaing.

If you came all the way to Burma, surely you must have some interest in its history. Well, then you need to visit this museum about the "father" of modern day Burma. Most people today know about his daughter but not this man, who was a truly great guy. What this man accomplished in his short 32 years of life was unfathomable! A scholar, soldier, activist, leader, husband, father, statesman....but above all, a man who loved his country and eventually ended up giving his life for it. Coming from humble beginnings, he went from a young student leader to a world class statesman at around age 30, while leading a few revolutionary wars against the Japanese and the British along the way. Had he not been assassinated, Burma today would be absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, very different....and for the better, in my opinion! On the lighter, fun side, it was a real treat to see the newly conserved vehicle that he used - a late 1930’s model Wolseley! My only suggestion for this museum - please display this vehicle in a better way so that visitors could see it properly. Now it is behind glass that is behind accordion gates/doors and very difficult to see . I understand the need for security, but this could still be better exhibited for viewing. All in all, excellent museum!

This museum exhibits the treasures of the last king of Myanmar.
Very comprehensive and rather elaborate collection of artefacts, art, paintings, costumes and of course, the Lion Throne. Suggest to have a guide as most of the exhibits have little to no English captions. I enjoyed looking at the Burmese paintings very much, especially Ba Nyan's. My plus one was very impressed with the paintings too so if you are into that, definitely check this out

I am a Museum junkie, and the Bagan Archaeological Museum did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, I went here twice during my three days exploring Bagan. This museum is mainly dedicated to cultural artifacts which center on the thousands of temples and pagodas built in the 9th-13th centuries. The numerous depictions of Buddha were breathtaking. This museum is a must see.
