Such a great experience!! Willy and Diane were amazing and so helpful. We had a nervous rider and Willy walked her and the horse the entire time. He made her comfortable and calm. The grounds were STUNNING and horses were taken care of and sweet. 10/10 experience, we can’t wait to go back. Thank you guys!

The "Muskoka Experience" always includes a cruise on the big 3 Muskoka Lakes, with their rugged & beautiful Canadian Shield vistas & gorgeous cottages. Enjoy live commentary including history & local lore. Depart Port Carling 7 days/wk late June-Oct. Sunset, dinner & private/bridal cruises too! Owned & operated by Captain Randy Potts, who has been a licensed captain for over 30 years, Sunset Cruises is an alternative to the larger ships, and can show you Muskoka scenery accessible only by our smaller ships. We go where the large boats don't. The Peerless II made its living for over 50 years as a gasoline and home heating oil delivery boat. We restored it so visitors and locals alike could see and experience first hand the historic supply boat era on the lakes.

Jack & Linda's museum brings the world of Anne & LM Montgomery to life. For anyone who loves LM Montgomery's books, or the movie adaptations you will find this museum a dream come true. Jack & Linda can easily move through conversations on any of LM Montgomery's writings, as well as her life. Their charm and sprinkling of book references will delight those who know the books and characters. They opened the museum for my sister, daughter and myself on a rainy, cold November and once we were inside it was like we had stepped into a different world. Jack & Linda fed off each other's enthusiasm in making history come to life. They connected real world events to LM's writings that I had never noticed before. Jack charmed us with playing piano pieces from the first Anne of Green Gables silent moving picture. Linda reenacted Anne's baking scenes with my daughter pretending to be Marilla while my daughter was Anne. We just had such an incredible time. I would have loved to stay in the area for a couple nights to really soak in everything they have there, and talk with Linda and Jack. You can tell they have really dedicated their life to preserving this incredible part of Canadian history. Also should note that the gift shop is INCREDIBLE :) I loved it. could have spent hours just in that. I really liked that they had a mix of new and used gift items - everythign related to LM Montgomery and the world's she created. They sell all the books news, but also have a collection of all the used books - which was great because there were a few I was missing! Same with costumes and doll clothes - they had a mix of brand new items and also gently used items for those wanting to be more economical.....my penny pinching heart just loved it :)

Discover the cranberries that make this area unique! The daily Bog to Bottle Discovery at 11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm is a Canadian Signature Experience. Taste and learn as you follow cranberries on a guided journey from peat bog to award-winning wine. Other 'must dos' include wine & cheese on the scenic patio and browsing for local goodies in the one-of-a-kind wine & gift shop. Hiking and snowshoe trails, GPS and kids' adventures and fall harvest activities are also available. Open daily, year round (Mon-Sun 10-5). Daily tour at 1 pm. Located four minutes north of Bala, in scenic Muskoka.
Great place to do different activities in the winter. They have prepared several snowshoe trails, thru the woods (with a few nice tree carvings) or around the cranberry fields (with plaques to read). Not sure if they had cross country trails. What better to do after you activity than wine tasting. They offered a great deal, 9 wines for $10. You don't find that in Niagara where we are from. And they have some great interesting wines, mainly made from cranberries, blueberries or a combination.

An excellent way to spend a afternoon. I felt ..engaged with the displays of Muskoka’s history in a way that I haven’t felt in a museum since the Museum of London in UK. Detailed and lovingly presented with a ..coming home atmosphere.

A very nice park to hike in, trails from 4km up. Quite a few swimming spots, the park is clean, but busy on the weekends, also used year round as you can snow shoe in the winter.

First time back in many years after my Da’s death in 2017. He lived here as a boy, and returned here to retire in the ‘80’s when we spent lots of time together here. This is Port Carling.

Arrived here just in time for sunset. Came on a week when it was rainy, hence the trail was icy, slippery and high probability of falls (i did - 5 times) Yet, the views are beautiful and the sunset was amazing. Definitely worth visiting when its sunset time. Preferably on a better day as getting back to entrance with icy walkway is tough and gets worse if its dark.

A great venue for watching live bands. Balconies offer a great view and seating... while the main dance floor is perfect to watch the band's perform. Sound system awsome.... the organizers do a great job!!!

Just loved it. Felt like an explorer when we were there! Walking over the gigantic rocks in pitch dark, with tiny mobile lights guiding us our way! What an adventure it was! Also saw so many shooting stars, moving satellites, picture perfect sky so full of stars and the clearest milky way!
