Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

Let me tell you the history I grew up in this area it’s called south mumbai little elitist neighborhood :) this area where they made a park was a dump when I was growing up but they have made a amazing park out if this area ... I was very skeptical about maintenance of this park but kiddos they have done a great job .as in any concrete city there’s limited accessibility to green zones and open area for kids .Its basically your neighborhood park people come sit make group ,walk ,kids play without any traffic interference and working people come and chill and escape there everyday life troubles.we don’t have that great gyms around so this is the best place to join the gym walk on track or just chill and people watch .its a great place for senior citizens as they all come after there household chores sit and gossip and laugh :)) when I go I just sit there and watch people:) if you are in neighborhood then go check it out but it’s just a local park .My opinion :)If you are far from it then don’t bother in this traffic :)

A must visit with kids. They have very interesting session where kids can touch and know about various birds and animals. They have nice variety of flowering and medicinal plants that attract some beautiful butterfly.. Thoroughly recommended

Jio garden is located in Mumbai and comes under a property built by Reliance industries. The garden is a venue for concerts with parking space for over 2000 cars. To enter one should buy a 10 Rs ticket. As you enter you will not see too many trees except on the sidelines. Several long lasting tree saplings have been planted on the sides of the garden. The lush green and good ambiance brings positive vibes to visitors at Jio garden.nice place to visit and see modern and high-tec infrastructure.

This place is the best for meeting up with friends and just hang out. With a wide range of eateries nearby, also makes it easier to join them for a meal later. Have young children? Not to worry! It also has a children's park with a wide range of equipment for them to enjoy. Next time in Mumbai, don't forget to be here ????

I ended up visiting this park while sketching with urban sketchers and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and serene this park was on a Sunday morning. It's a fairly big park considering other greenspaces in Mumbai. The entrance fee is only Rs 5. Even more impressive when you realise it used to be a garbage dump. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for some peace and quiet to visit. There are park benches where you can sketch or read or just watch the clouds go by.
