We stumbled across this beautiful gallery whilst on holiday with friends. A fantastic find, beautiful paintings , artwork and glass ware. We met John who was charasmatic and charming and happy to chat with us. This makes all the difference when you are thinking of buying a painting for your home. In fact we couldn't resist and bought 3! Wonderful part of our holiday .

A chance to explore the breathtaking scenery and magnificent coastline which surrounds the village of Mousehole onboard the Cormorant - with Newlyn, Penzance and St Michael’s Mount to the east - Lamorna, Porthcurno and The Minack Theatre to the west, it’s a great way to see the beautiful Cornish coast from the sea. Trips could encounter basking sharks, dolphins, seals and seabirds. The very best way to appreciate the beautiful views of this part of the Cornish coast is to join us for a boat trip - hour long trips from Mousehole and Newlyn - booking essential - private charters available. Make your visit to Mousehole complete - the adventure begins here!

This gorgeous shop is tucked away in a pretty courtyard with a varied range of gifts for all budgets. It's certainly not the usual "tacky" seaside souvenirs, but beautiful arts and crafts, including some from local artists. I highly recommend you visit this lovely shop with its friendly owners, Sarah & Steve (and their very special helpers, their two miniature schnauzers); possibly the best gift shop in Cornwall!

I’m Elaine, a Mousehole girl who has a true passion for the history of this amazing village. With cobbles, narrow streets, stone washed cottages crawling up the steep hills and a perfect harbour, Mousehole is unspoilt and feels incredibly safe. There is so much to learn about the village of Mousehole - amazing pieces of history, legends, local folklore and yarns all await its visitors around every corner. Come and join me and take a step back in time.

Beautiful harbour, interesting history, lovely walks, nice people. Our favourite place in Britain. Recommend the ice creams at Jessie’s Dairy, the breakfasts at Hole Food Deli and the cream tea at the Rock Pool Cafe (near Coastguard Hotel).

An antique Barometer set in the wall of the Ship Inn; well worth a look and see if the weather is set fair!!

A circular walk following the coast from the historic fishing village of Mousehole through the Kemyel Crease nature reserve and around the towering cliffs of Lamorna Cove. The return route is through the Lamorna granite quarries and through the fields of the clifftop farms overlooking St Clement's Isle and St Michaels' Mount. 4.8 miles. Steepness: moderate-strenuous.
This walk follows the clifftop path, westerly, and is both enjoyable and closer to Lamorna is quite challenging. After all the rain recently the walk back across country was very soft and muddy, and not hugely enjoyable, apart from the lovely views. The final return into Mousehole was beside a very babbling brook, and was lovely.

We stayed for a couple of nights. It’s a good size pub and full of character. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It’s a restricted menu at the moment, but still a good choice of dishes. It’s a St Austell Brewery pub and the ales are well kept. Well worth a visit!

Gallery in the fishing village of Mousehole showing work by mostly local artists. Representational and naive.
