Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Our hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. We'd love to meet you!
We discovered this wonderful coffee maker while on a cruise tour earlier this year, and had several bags shipped to us via their convenient priority mail flat rate boxes. As we learned during the tour, the coffee is so creamy even without milk or cream because they get so much rain that the acidity is really low (compared to higher acidity in the more famous Kona, which to me tastes inferior), making Hilo coffee great for those with GERD. Our favorite unique flavors were Vanilla MacNut, Pineapple, Nuts About Hawaii, and Coconut. We're definitely re-ordering from their website.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour through the Kilauea lava tubes. Our tour guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable about all the different types of lava and very excited to share the tubes with us. My daughter loved seeing, in person, all of the types of lava and formations that she had learned about in school this past Spring.

We toured with Ken for 2 days, doing Hilo the first day and Kona the second. The van was very comfortable for the 6 of us. Ken took us to all the major attractions and was willing to go to other places if we wished. He stopped at a fruit/veg. market to buy white pineapple so that we could taste how much sweeter it was than the yellow type. I found the Hilo side much more interesting. The stop at a market (which was more like a craft fair) was too long. We stopped at 2 nice places for lunch. The cost of the 2 days was very reasonable.

It was an extreme pleasure touring The Big Island with Aloha Tuesday Tours while visiting the Island on the Pride of America. Our guide Kuuipo (translated to "Sweetheart") was absolutely awesome being very kind, and flexible. Although there were 10 people on this tour, we were not rushed, and we got to see everything we wanted see plus more. We were taken off the beaten path and saw things that the big expensive tours could never offer. We were able to visit the popular attractions, but also had opportunities to visit with locals who are rebuilding their homes after they were destroyed by recent lava flows - a short walk down a secluded path took us to where the sea turtles were basking in the sun. She was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of history as we toured. The tour was very reasonably priced - much less than what the cruise line had to offer. I would highly recommend this company and this tour guide to anyone visiting Hilo.!!! 5 stars PLUS!

We did the early morning hike with John and others. We did this back in December, 2017. It was an incredible experience, to start at dawn go through the long hike through the endless black lava fields, to see the glowing red lava. It would have been nice to throw food and etc in the lava at the very end as started by the some people as a sign of respect.

We offer private or group tours of our tea garden followed by tasting Big Island Tea: `A`a Black Tea and Kilinoe Green Tea. Owners, Eliah and Cam tell a fun and interesting story of the culinary, cultural, ecological, social and scientific underpinnings of Big Island Tea.
We spent a lovely 2 hours as a family of four with 8 and 13 year olds. Cam was friendly and informative. We saw all around the tea plantation and Cam was extremely well informed about how they are growing other plants to improve the tea quality and avoid pesticides. He was great at answering questions from the kids and adults. He showed us how they pick and prepare the leaves and we had a lovely tasting with some amazing shortbread. Such a pleasure to spend time there, learn about tea and sustainable farming and meet Cam

We been here twice, once by ourselves when they had a maze going on, and another time bringing our friends visiting the island. The second time seemed much more organized and able to see the greenhouse area. So many beautiful, variety of orchids to view and take many pictures. It was a nice surprise to even see and smell orchids having some fragrance to them. I have sent a floral arrangement to someone on the mainland in the past. Stop by here before or after going to the volcano.
