The first time we went it didn’t turn out the way anyone planned! However, the owners were amazing and made things right! That takes a lot of strength and courage as an owner! We had one of the most amazing days out on their boat! The lake was beautiful and the kindness of the owners and their staff made it even better! Highly would recommend!

Closed FOR THE SEASON Angelic Farm is a place where quiet solitude reigns with plenty of fresh air and "all natural" (no pesticides or herbicides) blueberries are to be picked and enjoyed. Come, spend time and enjoy. See you in July 2021
I think this year is by far, the best batch of blueberries we have picked! The rows and rows of bushes are loaded! Make sure to take a picture of the blueberry gingerbread recipe that is near the buckets. It is so yummy! Paying is easy with Venmo or you can leave cash.

Red Hill Provisions is located at the base of the Red Hill fire tower hiking trail. We offer organic herb infused lemonade, jams and jellies, herbal products, and bug spray, all made with plants from our gardens. We encourage everyone to relax after a hike in our whimsical outdoor seating area, full of flowers, sculptures and a little crooked house for the kids.
Great place to get organic products and tasty lemonade after the hike! Easy to find just before the red hill trail and had a great welcoming atmosphere!

Castle in the Clouds offers tours of the historic 1914 mansion, on-site dining at The Carriage House Restaurant, community programs and events, rental space for weddings and private events, horseback riding at the nearby Riding in the Clouds, and access to 28 miles of walking or hiking trails with waterfalls.
What a beautiful house, tremendous view, and fascinating story! Not ostentatious, the house reflects great craftsmanship and how the couple enjoyed life in the country - riding, hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, etc. The view was amazing, especially from the upstairs bedrooms. The staff was knowledgeable and offered insights about how the owners fortune came and went. Take the walk to the falls if you have time. Very cognizant of Covid protocol.

Quite possibly the oldest retail establishment in America built on the corner from the barn frame in 1781 we carry the items that other stores don't carry from penny candy to wrought iron hardware to an old museum above the store we're open seven days a week and there's some thing for everyone ages 3 to 100
Love the Old Country Store and try to visit every year. If they don't have it, you don't need it. The layout is a real country store, with the pickle barrel too. There are candies that bring you back in time. A room full of soaps, all scents and sizes. A toy center with new toys from back in time and plan on spending hours there if you want to see and enjoy the whole experience.

Home to the Loon Preservation Committee, this center works to protect one of the best known birds found in the Lakes Region.
This visit was a follow up after a "Cruise" on Squam Lake (Golden Pond). On that trip we were up close to Loons and enjoyed their songs and saw a nesting bird on a raft nesting platform. The Look Center offers loads of information about loons including an informative 20 minute film. We plan a return visit next year.
