WVU in Morgantown, WV has always been a great venue for sports, but it is also a great spot for concerts and other activities that would otherwise not be available in a town this size.

We had SO much fun and came in (out?) just under the wire! The room tested our powers of observation & deduction as well as our spelling, math and science skills. We were a little concerned that this would be too tough for our 8...MoreBarbara, Thank you for your review! We're happy you had such a great time! Come back to see us!

My family and I travel around the country to visit major and minor league ballparks. This is a great small, intimate park. Plenty of parking, located in a shopping and restaurant complex with everything that you might need. Seats are relatively spacious, the crowd was enthusiastic and polite. The gift shop is way too small for the demand, though. We will be back to visit.

Home of the West Virginia University football team seats more than 63,500 people in its stands.
The stadium was easy to get to. They rent seat backs which were worth it, even though we stood for most of the game. We sat in section 122 and had a very good view of the field. Bathrooms were clean and very little waiting time for men and women. Food and drink venues were easy to find and get to. Enjoyed the experience.

The die hard WVU fans vote this venue high because there is nothing else to do in Morgantown so look at the building itself:
#1 Horrible Seat Comfort
#2 Overpriced beer and snacks
#3 Venue is over 40 years old and smells as such
#4 ZERO parking unless you want to roll the dice on the side of the road
#5 The fans are just crude and/or drunk, the student section is embarrassing

This location is right in the heart of downtown Morgantown! Parking available. Unfortunately, it was not an 'active' the day we were there but we got a good feel for what it would be like. Local folks told us that it is a great event to attend....lots of vendors and great options. Looking forward to going back. Enjoy! Reminds me of the European markets!

I don't drink so it's hard to imagine reviewing a winery but I had promised folks I would bring them something and most drink wine. They had a wonderful selection of fruit wines which I mostly purchased since it's not something you can purchase readily in my hometown. There was a wide variety of wines and spirits to choose from and very reasonably priced. Everyone loved their gifts!

We visited in early June and found that all the flowering vegetation had past and everything was just green. Even with vegetation markers it was hard to distinguish the individual plants from one and another and just gave up and enjoyed the walk in the forest.
The arboretum is located in town and across from the main entrance to WVU and adjacent to the stadium and will find a small free parking lot at the entrance. Be sure to pick up a map at the entrance to identify the indigenous plants and intertwining trails. Don’t expect the area and trails to be level and trails over flat ground, except for a small grassy area located near the beginning of the trail heads. You heart rate will definitely elevate over some areas and would not be easy for anyone with severe physical challenges. There is a service road and is used by walkers and bicyclists, but what I saw there wasn’t much tree coverage to protect you from the sun and stayed under tree cover. Allow 1-2 hours to enjoy a nice walk in the forest without having to leave town.

There have been many improvements since last season. There were several televisions and food stations, improved restroom facilities, and new entry gates. This added to the great experience we had on game day.

This place is not very well advertised but it does have chevroned trails surrounding an old reservoir. There is not much signage and no evidence of other nature there. We did like the wetlands boardwalk.
