CERES Community Environment Park is an award winning, not-for-profit, sustainability centre located on 4.5 hectares on the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne. We run extensive environmental education programs, urban agriculture projects, and a number of social enterprises including a grocery, bakery, cafe, nursery, community kitchen, organic online supermarket and online ethical wood retailer. In 2020 we launched our wonderful Terra Wonder Playspace featuring a huge millipede and other amazing beasts, demonstrating the wonder and importance of the world of soil. CERES is also home to 200 chickens, 10,000 bees, and is a hive of community activity.
Great coffee, good cafe food and excellent community atmosphere- a place to meet, for kids to play and explore and get dusty and be happy. Lots of fruit and veg straight from the many gardens dotted around the place, live music drifting across the park and a relaxed, content space to spend some time. Amazing to have such space in the middle of a major city- hope it never gets developed.

I have attended Coburg lake with work. It gives you time to reflect. The lake is clean safe. The BBQ area is clean . There are many different areas to go to the grass and trees are well maintained. The ducks like to be feed.

On first impression, one might think that Christ Church is a Catholic place of worship, as it is built in a Renassance style that would not be out of place in northern Italy. It is, however, a member of the Anglican Communion, following the Anglo-Catholic tradition. It is very hard to miss,. It is in Glenlyon Road, near the corner of Sydney Road. The Church has a Lady Chapel and several icons.

I have taken my dogs for walking, and myself, for some years now. Thanks to the local council putting up an enclosed space for dogs, it's now safe to have pooches off lead but contained -that enclosure is close to Pearson street end of the park. As a general walking park, Gilpin is excellent for those of us who really need to have a regular walk but for whom the streets aren't an ideal track. Gilpin park is well maintained and provides a great walk - see how many circuits you can work up to in an hour.

Brunswick Park is on Victoria Street, Brunswick. The park has some very nice, mature trees. The lawns are a credit to the More;land City Council. The benches allow visitors to take a break and soak up the serenity.

We go often for family gatherings and I walk the dogs there regularly. Small, but a lovely green space.
