There's always something going on in Keilor Shopping Precinct. The Shopping Precinct begins at the Niddrie Central Shopping Centre and ends somewhere around the Matthews Avenue tram stop, although the Precinct is always expanding. Towards one end is Mylk and Honey, one of the Precinct's best venues for coffee and cake. There are restaurants and cafes everywhere' plus fassion retailers and a popular $2 shop, where you can get anything at one-tenth the price elsewhere. . Some shops last six months and some go on forever. There's always something new in Keilor Road, take a stroll. and see what you can find. If you want a break, the Nidrie Library has comfortable chairs.

Moonee Ponds Station is a good-looking building in Gothic Revvial style, built of red brick and stucco.. It's on the busy Craigieburn line. it dates from the 19th century. The front of the station is surrounded by trees, mainly Peppercorn trees and Canary Island palms. It's just a hop, step and a jump from Puckle Street, one of Melbourne's most prosperous shopping strips

The Salvation Army Moonee Ponds Corps Centre is a strriking building, constrcted in Earlty English Gothic style. It it is lbuilt ight brown Hawwthorn bricks, with cream highlights. It was built in 1882, making it the second oldest religious building in Moonee Valley. It was originanlly a Primitive Methodist Church. It has the look of church, without religious symbols. There is, for example, no cross. Where one would expect to see a cross, you can see a fleur-de-lys. This is one of the most significant and distinctive church buildings in the City of Moonee Valley.;It's at the corner of Buckley St and Mt Alexander Road.
