September 6, 2021 Jeremy Dunfee

Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight you with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

Igloofest

Reviewed By markmE295DT - Montreal, Canada

Been several years in a row with my gf for specific artists each time. Since the first Igloofest alot has changed. Now it's much smarter and way better organized. There's lots of places to warm up, and the VIP lounges with the purchase of a VIP ticket is well worth the money on the busy events. Access to the heated VIP lounge right behind the outside section of the VIP deck. Private bar with free water bottles and free coffee plus bathrooms. The festival has activities that anyone can participate at. With ice sculptures and lots of things to look at, fire pits to melt marshmallows, and all kinds of people. There's a decent selection of food available and 2 stages with different types of music. I suggest over dressing, lots of hot paws and layers with snow pants and boots, hat gloves neck warmer and a good jacket. Even if you don't think it's that cold being outside, 5 hours will freeze you from feet to noze if you are not prepared. Have a great time and don't hesitate to dress up everyone does it and there are themes each event as well. Enjoy!! ????
