Steeped in 700 years of Grimaldi royal history, Monte-Carlo’s location is stunning, tucked between French medieval villages and the Alps. This is a wonderful place to visit and the entrance fee is great value for money, lots of lovely colourful displays of marine life and loads to see, the aquarium is in the basement with the upper floors being the museum, there is the usual shop as you exit and a cafe for a drink or bite to eat. Highly recommended.

Small Japanese garden with koi pond and a tea house. Takes 20-30 minutes to visit and even in the area they built heavily is quiet and clean.

Jardin des animalier

Reviewed By sauditraveller - Cardiff, United Kingdom

We had to pay entry for the garden it was about 6 euros per person if I am not mistaken. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, according to the website these animals are rescued or given to the garden and are released when they are healed. At some point I was sitting having some water and a peacock just walked casually near me. This was amusing to me. They don't have a lot of animals, but they have some interesting birds and small animals.
