During our recent online cooking class with Locanda Demetra (Marta and Allesandro) we broke out a few bottles of our favorite Brunellos - all, of course, from Castello Romitorio! On several trips to the winery Daniele and staff have always been gracious and inviting, making it a favorite place to visit each time we travel to Tuscany. We thank Noemi for the introduction!! We have airline tickets to return in Sept and remain hopeful that conditions will allow the trip. For now, we hope and pray that the great folks at Romitorio are safe, healthy, surviving this tough time. And THANKS for the fantastic wine we continue to enjoy at home!

Small organic family business that produces wine, olive oil and grappa. Our services are only by reservation: wine tasting, and restaurant can be booked every day , except sunday. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advantage. We are three brothers and one sister and to provide the best service to our guests we need a reservation because we can not be available in any moment of the day. We will be glad to host you . Have a nice day. Giacomo, Domitilla, Stefano and Ettore
My husband and I visited Il Cocco in 2016, as part of a 10 day trip to Italy. We had an amazing experience, and loved their wines. We recently ordered a case of their wine, as we had finished the last of the case we ordered while we were visiting, and want to support this amazing family business during a time of need. The ordering process for shipping a case was extremely easy over email and used Paypal to pay, and Giacomo was very helpful in getting everything sorted out. We can't wait until our case of wine arrives!

The renown historical Fanti winery offers guided tours of the cellar followed by a tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oil. Our wine cellar is located in the valley of Castelnuovo dell'Abate (which lies in the south of Montalcino) in front of the medieval Abbey of Saint Antimo. Winery visits are available upon reservation in English and French.
We had a wonderful tour of the Fanti wine cellars and the wine production process. Tenuta Fanti is a great blend of old family tradition updated with modern technical wine making and is set in breathtakingly beautiful countryside. Our guide Veronica was really friendly and informative. We really enjoyed the wine tasting overlooking the spectacular abbey of Saint Antimo

Experience the tradition and passion in every bottle of our Brunello while overlooking an outstanding, panoramic view in our glass enclosed and air conditioned deck. We offer small or large group wine tastings in English or Italian. We also serve light or full lunch (reservation is required). We also offer free WiFi in a relaxed and friendly environment.
My visit to Poggio Rubino with two girlfriends was without a doubt a highlight of our “girls trip“ to Italy for cooking and wine tasting. We were warmly welcomed and treated royally throughout our lunch with wine (and olive oil) tastings - and, oh, the VIEW! The tour before lunch was also wonderful. Michael was a perfect host, knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was excellent and the meal delicious. I ordered a half case of the 2015 Brunello. This was in early September and I was told that it was not due to be released until the end of January so would be shipped for my receipt in early February. Here it is February 3, and I my bottles have arrived, just as promised. I would not hesitate to buy wine here and have them ship it. This is a first class vineyard, delightful in every way.

Reservations are required for winery tours and tastings. Please contact us via email or the phone number above. The Etruscan celebration of life--beauty, food, and wine--is alive today on the Mate family's boutique wine estate. Twenty years ago, Ferenc and Candace Mate, author and painter, fell in love with an abandoned 13th century friary--its romantic tower, courtyard, and two private hills. Within its 28 hectares of Mediterranean woods were fragrant fields of wild herbs. They planted vineyards on Etruscan-built terraces and in seven fields of varying altitudes, expositions and subsoils. For each site, they carefully chose a grape varietal, rootstock, and clones. In marl, mineral-rich shale and tufaceous soil--all abundant in calcareous fossils of a primordial ocean bottom--vines planted to a high density, forced their roots deep through varied layers, enhancing the grapes' flavors and perfumes. The Mate's hand-made wines, from organically grown, carefully selected grapes, are internationally acclaimed.
We enjoyed our second visit to Mate as much as our first visit 4 years earlier. A beautiful vineyard with amazing views and most importantly great wine. We would highly recommend a visit when in Tuscany. Jessica was an excellent host too. Hopefully we will have the chance to return for a third time!

Annibele Parisi and his family have created something quite unique here - a vineyard in the most beautiful situation near Montalcino, where nature, art and love combine to create something very special indeed. Not only do they produce lovely wines, but the whole property is a reflection of the love for nature and art that Annibele has. You will come away infected with his enthusiasm for creativity and his love for his family.

The estate of Castelgiocondo, is located in the southwest of Montalcino, an ideal terroir for Sangiovese and for the great wines that are produced here. The vineyards are found at the perfect altitude between 300 and 400 metres with well-drained soils and sunny, favorable southwest exposure.

Though it was time of corona, in between waves, the winery was open for pre-booked visits. The winery us stunning and situates in a beautiful surroundings. Marco, my host, was wonderful, patient and professional and did his utmost to make me feel at home as well as protected and safe. Wines are extraordinary and the story behind the winery and winemaker is awesome.
