Booked a tee time for a friend and I. We’d both heard good things about the course from some fellow golfers and made a 3 hour round trip to visit. We were not disappointed and was well worth every minute of the journey!! On arrival we made our way to the Pro Shop where the 2 staff, a Lady and Gent were extremely welcoming and friendly. The Mansion looks simply stunning from the outside and would of been a treat to walk around inside if we’d arrived a bit earlier and had time to although not sure what parts are currently open to the public given the current climate. Tee’d off at our given slot and the course certainly lived up to the hype! Fairways and greens were in fantastic condition, with beautiful established trees everywhere to marvel at along the way as the course is wonderfully etched into the natural landscape. Greens were in great nick with undulation in abundance on pretty much every hole and all running very pure. The course just seemed to keep on giving as we made our way round with some great feature holes including the elevated Par 3 13th, with a great view of the mansion at the 10th tee and the 18th. The 18th, what a treat!.......a stunning finishing hole to cap off a great golfing experience! We were extremely impressed with both the course and staff and would return in a heartbeat! And at £40 for a weekday visitor green fee it’s an absolute steal! Thanks very much guys we thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality and gem of a course, we’ll be back soon for sure!

Located in south Wales is the birthplace of King Henry V and our launch site of Monmothshire. Monmouth's setting is ideal for a scenic balloon flight, the beautiful Brecon Beacons to the west and the stunning Severn Estuary to the south could both be spotted on your flight depending on which way the wind decides to take you on your airborne adventure.

We booked an hour long lesson for our children (age 6 & 10). The school is set in a beautiful spot surrounded by stunning views of the local landscape. Hayley was very welcoming, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed and the instructor’s style gave the children confidence despite neither having ridden before. The lesson was structured well, plenty of encouragement was given by the instructor and the children had huge grins on their faces throughout. A wonderful experience, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. We will definitely be back.
