If you're not familiar with Greater Moncton (Moncton/Dieppe/Riverview), I strongly recommend using the RCMP Memorial as a starting point for your visit. Very easy to locate, and with plenty of street parking, this is a beautiful and well created memorial to our most recent fallen Police Officers. There has been six Police Officers tragically killed in the line of duty in the history of our city, a sad reality, and this monument is specifically for three Police Officers killed during a mass shooting in our city on June 4th., 2014. These Officers were members of Codiac RCMP, while the other fallen Officers were members of The Moncton Police Force (Replaced by the RCMP). From here, you are now on a beautiful riverfront walking trail, part of the TransCanada Trail, and one block away from Moncton's Main Street with it's many restaurants, night clubs, stores, banks, theatre, etc. Every city has its history, good and bad, and from here we learn and grow.

We were beyond satisfied with our experience here... My wife and I booked a Wine Tasting & Picnic On The Patio in late July. Very informative and professional. We both enjoyed the wine tasting very much. The personal interaction between the staff and guests was very much appreciated. Great selection of wines for sale. We will return for sure! Thank you for a great afternoon!

As recent arrivals to the city our favourite bit of the museum was the huge map of the area in the floor. We must have spent a good 30 minutes identifying spots we had visited and then places for our next adventures. All the exhibits are interesting and well laid out. The guides are so knowledgeable and interesting. Overall a great place to visit.

For a very busy spot they have the systems to make things flow smoothly. Everything is well maintained. There is something for everyone. Little kids, medium kids, and big kids including adults. Was super impressed with their fun zone - the rides were clean and they have all the right rides to have a great time!

A tidal Bore is a tidal phenomenon in which the leading edge of an incoming tide forms a standing wave of water that travels upstream, against the current of a river or narrow bay. The tidal bore in Moncton is caused when the unparalleled tides in the Bay of Fundy begin to make their way up the historic Petitcodiac River. The Bay of Fundy is home to the highest tides in the world and over 160 billion tonnes of water comes in and out of the bay each day! Twice daily, observers can watch the tidal bore as this incoming rush of water overtakes the outgoing tide in the formerly placid river.
Moncton's riverside Tidal Bore Park provides an outstanding opportunity to witness a fascinating natural phenomenon - a tidal bore. This is a tidally-driven wave which travels up the river from the Bay of Fundy. Tables showing the schedule for the manifestation are freely available. Definitely not to be missed! .
