MR21 is an interpretation center located in Canada's only digital cathedral. Run by a secular nonprofit, its original content should interest those wishing to discover this NB heritage gem. The center's scenography makes use of cutting edge technology (interactive screens, immersive projections, etc.) that offers visitors an experience of total, emotional and autonomous immersion. The learning experience is entertaining, intense and authentic.
I had the chance to visit the cathedral on a free admission day during March break with my granddaughter. The digital installations are a unique way to learn more about the cathedral and the Acadian community. We recommend it to people interested in history and heritage.

As recent arrivals to the city our favourite bit of the museum was the huge map of the area in the floor. We must have spent a good 30 minutes identifying spots we had visited and then places for our next adventures. All the exhibits are interesting and well laid out. The guides are so knowledgeable and interesting. Overall a great place to visit.

The Free Meeting House, built in 1821 is one of Moncton’s oldest standing public buildings. Its purpose was to serve as a home for all religious denominations until such time as individual groups could raise the money required to build their own churches. In June 1990, the Free Meeting House was designated a National Historic Site. Visits are offered by request at the Admissions desk of Resurgo Place, adjacent to the Free Meeting House during business hours.
