Free entry to this hidden gem. Donations are accepted and appreciated. Nice variety of displays. Enjoyed the railroad and rattlesnake bomber base displays. Friendly staff

Monahans Sandhill State Park is a hidden gem of the Texas State Parks. You can rent sand disc and spend house sledding the sand dunes. Dune reach over 70 feet and you can go fast when sledding. It's near Midland/Odessa and a great place to hang with family. We visited and spent a few house just having fun. What's great about this park, it's not eve=n busy. You can camp, horse back ride and sled here. This park is a must visit during the cooler months.
