Wow. These ruins are beautiful, filled with sad history. Wonderful memorial of the past Germany since the 12th century. Great location within the center of the city

Worth queuing to take a trip up in the lift to see the amazing views from the top. Beautiful building, perfectly restored.

Location for a wedding. Beautiful building in the old town. Traffic free but with good access. Building was well adapted to multi-use and had what looked like a good eating place under an atrium.

This building, one of many in the old city which was destroyed during WWII and later rebuild is very important and quite beautiful.

I frightful to learn that 90% of the medieval city was destroyed in the bomb raids, at the end of WW2. Justified as it may have been deemed at the time, the realization is staggering. And the will of local people to rebuild and keep on is trully remarkable. The result is a beautiful city, with a lot to offer. Quiet and refrained, open to the visitors but not overjoyed, same as most German cities. However, for tourists passing through, it is a worthy stop, a magic view for thirsty eyes and a sad history lesson for those yound enough to question the realities of past wars.

It is a charming park behind the new town hall. Together with its building it makes a beautiful scenery and it is a nice romantic place for walking, relaxing and an amazing photography spot.
