Minnesota Zoo

We always love coming to this zoo it is always clean and the monorail is great on hot days to get around and see an aerial view of some of the enclosures. They always have a great variety of animals on display and in the farm area you get to see all kinds of Baby Animals often. So far my kids love coming here still and I'm sure that day will come when they no longer want to go to the zoo with their parents but until then we're gonna try and squeeze every trip we can in.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Located in historic Como Park, this popular zoo, especially known for its California sea lion exhibit, also features a great cat display, gorillas and giraffes.

Reviewed By Smiliemn - Saint Paul, United States

Como Park is always a great place to visit. I always enjoy walking through the conservatory and seeing what flowers are in the sunken garden or what’s currently flowering. The zoo is fun as well, although weekends in the summer get crowded. The seal harbor is currently under construction, so if you go soon, you won’t see the Sparky Show. It looks like it will be beautiful when the new Seal Harbor is finished so be sure to check it out!

Hemker Park & Zoo is open from May 1 - October 31. We are open from 10:00 am-6:00 pm

My wife and I were told of this little zoo while in St. Cloud for dinner. We arrived to find it very secluded, but packed to the brim with exotic animals one would not expect to find in Minnesota. Penguins, giraffes, primates, and so much more. We also got to feed the giraffes while we were there! You can tell that the people that own the zoo take care of all the animals and take pride in what they do.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Reviewed By ToyMan675 - Millersville, United States

On a cold rainy afternoon, in December, we decided to visit the Conservatory and a small part of the Zoo. We had a wonderful walk through the beautiful Conservatory and then had a walk through the Primate Building (amazing gorillas) and the African Hoofed Stock Building. This is a wonderful place to visit and it is FREE! Please remember to drop a donation at the entrance.

The only aquarium in the U.S. that focuses on freshwater exhibits, this three-story waterfront structure is ready for public viewing after a year and a half and almost $34 million. Plenty of interactive exhibits and re-created habitats are fun and educational for children.
