Hilarious, thought-provoking original comedy, improv and satire for over 50 years! Brave New Workshop also has a unique and versatile event space with custom entertainment options.
My wife and I met two other couples last night to see "Angels we have heard are high," a hysterical holiday-themed show not for the faint of heart (some language and themes that some might find offensive or crude, but we laughed our heads off). It was comprised of multiple short skits performed by four talented actors - with the two women being truly amazing! The short skit format was good because it kept things fresh and moving along. Intimate little setting with the small stage right up close - no bad seats. There is also a small bar on-site where you can get beer, wine, and other beverages - convenient while waiting for doors to open or during intermission. The time flew by, and I found myself craving more at the end. We will definitely be back to see what other productions they put on. Definitely for mature audiences only.

Twin Cities' Best and Newest Comedy Club. Royal Comedy Theatre is located on Mainstreet in Hopkins, a suburb ten minutes west of Minneapolis with small town charm. Unlike the other comedy clubs in MN (i.e. Acme Comedy, New Hope Cinema Grill), Royal Comedy Theatre is a showcase style comedy club which are common in New York and Los Angeles (i.e. Comedy Cellar and The Comedy Store).

A perfect one-stop-evening for socializing, food, drinks and laughs; located within walking distance of most hotels Laugh Camp Comedy Club is a recognized favorite of nationally known comedians and a must-play for up-and-comers. The main bar features sport on TVs, pool table and jukebox while the cabaret is where the comedy happens.

The Dinner Detective is America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show! Solve a hilarious crime while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room. The Dinner Detective is an experience unlike any other. Anyone in the room can end up being part of the show, including YOU!

Nationally touring comedians every Friday and Saturday night. Show times are 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM. Reservations recommended.
The comedians we saw were very funny and it as a fun might out. The room is nice and wait staff efficient though the munchie menu was quite limited. Loved the idea of military getting in free as a thank you for service. Wonderful. And the kind words of thanks were an added bonus. Class act all the way. We would go back any time we are in Rochester.

First time to visit. Husband booked for late NYE dinner and show. Loved this place. Arrived early and sat at bar for drinks. Then served dinner in the Sticks restaurant from a pre selected menu. Food was really great and seriously the best waiter ever! Shout out to Nate! Very attentive and personable. Because we booked the dinner package we were pre assigned seats and were right up front. The MC was funny. The opener...just ok. The headliner was excellent. We feel like we found a new date night spot. Only thing that I would say is that bathrooms are too small and needed some attention. But hey, it was a busy night.

We were here the week of Thanksgiving and we had a great time. The food was good and the drinks were great and reasonably priced. We had such a great time on Wednesday, we decided to go back again on Saturday to see the new headliner. Very accommodating staff and very nice bartenders and servers.
