This was a great gift for my husband and we enjoyed the experience as a family. Todd was very helpful and great with the kids (3 teenagers)! We drove the tank for about 30 minutes and then stopped by the Blue Ridge Brewery for lunch. It makes a fantastic day trip from Atlanta.

Grumpy Old Men Brewery is a microbrewery located in beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia. We currently have 18 beers on tap so there’s always something new and different for the craft beer lover to try!
Very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly....actually had a nice variety of beers to choose from considering their size. My groups favorite beer was the porter....but all were very good. One of the owners (Steve) was super friendly and accommodating. He hung out with us for a bit, chatted us up, and played awesome music the whole time we were there. This is a must stop for a beer lover visiting Blue Ridge....but be advised....they are only open from 1-5pm Thursday-Sunday and closed Monday-Wednesday...so plan accordingly. Thanks again Steve for the awesome hospitality!

Come play or relax on the beautiful Toccoa River and enjoy canoeing, tubing, kayaking, and rafting.
First, I have to say the driver was hoot. The river was cold but lots of fun. It was a very quiet, lazy time on the river. Get there early, and you may just have the river to yourself or very close to it. Take the 3 mile trip. It is worth it.

We were given horses based on our ability to ride. We spent hours in the woods, which was nice. It was a very hot day. Guides gave a little girl special sattention, because she was so scared. it turned out well! No problems, we had a good time. I do suggest bringing your own water. none is available.

We had a group of scouts & parents, Im 1 of the parents & from the initial instructions til the ending high fives I have nothing but great things to say. Trace our guide was informative, interactive & really went the extra mile to make sure we got the full river experience, he can also jump & hover over the boat as the boat is going over a rapid... That's the Flying part. He gave us information about the river & its history, there was never a dull moment. He made sure we got to surf the river, even when it meant jumping out & giving us a little push. This was my 1st experience ever rafting, my daughter was 1 of the scouts, she invited me on this trip, a year earlier Sept, 2016 I received my NED after a coming down with a little case of Cancer so this was an absolutely wonderful way to celebrate & prove there is life after Cancer. The facility is very clean, food, drinks, hot showers are all offered. Take the trip, you will NOT regret it! Thank You Trace & all the staff for a great day.

We invite you to visit our grapevines, each with its own personality, and experience the simple and serene pleasures that the North Georgia Mountains have waiting for you. Give yourself a moment to pause and celebrate nature’s down-to-earth gifts of life, people, and wine. We are just a few country miles outside of Blue Ridge, and we look forward to welcoming you! About the Farm In the early 1960s, the seed was planted, for what would one day become Serenberry Vineyards, when Henry and Ethelyn Jernigan came to North Georgia. After hearing about the area’s trout fishing, they purchased acreage in Morganton, Georgia, with a house and a barn that had been built in the 1920s. After selling the house to a couple of close friends, they converted the barn into what has been known as ‘the Little House’ ever since. Fast forward two generations later, and the Little House is still in the family. Years ago, the original house was repurchased, and now overlooks a beautiful vineyard. The Little House was renovated, exposing its original roots as a barn, and was transformed into the Tasting Barn in 2012.
We visited on an overcast day. It's a bit of a haul from Blue Ridge, but it is scenic so we did not mind the drive. The Vineyard itself is down a gravel road...all part of the experience. The tasting room is quaint, nothing fancy but serves the purpose. The tasting room was actually a family home built back in the 1800's so it is charming...it is small and I don't think it had air conditioning as it was warm in there...but again, I guess part of the experience. The girl who spoke with us was very friendly and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is that the tastings take place at a small bar up front and you have to stand the entire time (I have bad knees and also just had a knee surgery)... so it felt a bit rushed. It would be nice if you had some bar stools around an old wine barrel or something of the sort and the tasting could be experienced at your leisure instead of the pourer seeming as if she was waiting on you so we could get on to the next one. There's a quaint little patio on the back that is nicely done and the vineyard itself it pretty...it is a relatively new vineyard so in it's infant stages. Pricing seemed fair. I give it a 4.5 star rating...could easily be a solid 5 with a couple of adjustments.

I golfed with two lady friends at the Old Tacoma Farm golf course today. What a beautiful and pristine mountain golf course. Currently there are only nine holes completed at this new course so we played it twice. It is a challenging course with pin placements that can change your vocabulary. However, we laughed about it and moved on to the next hole. I'm sure once you play it a few times, you'll have some good course management. The carts had GPS which was ideal for the terrain. It was a beautiful day, 80 degrees on November 2nd. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the course. We will definitely be back to play this beautiful course again. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful day!
