These trails are pretty easy, and a great place to run the kids or the dog. They are well marked, and the views along the way are amazing!

Crawford Lake Conservation Area

Reviewed By sfryyz - Canada, null

We stopped in here as part of our hike on the Nassagaweya Trail/Bruce Trail/Crawford Lake Trail. Stopping off here about halfway through our hike was a great way to catch a break. Has a little snack we brought inside the air conditioned visitors centre (they have several picnic tables in the basement level for this purpose) and then made our way over to the Iroquoian Village directly across from the visitor centre. This consists of at least three longhouses, each of which houses a display of artifacts. One has a multimedia display running as well. Super educational and enjoyable (even for a restless teenager!). Crawford lake itself is a rare type of lake that is worth seeing. It’s depth is greater than its surface area which means that it can’t support life past a certain depth - as a result, discoveries of preserved corn pollen here led to discoveries of Iroquois settlements.

Great tone with children. Nice walk with amazing views. The fire put near the falls is amazing and can be used for marshmallows or to simply enjoy the warmth. If you are a family that love nature, better to buy the annual pass

Glen Eden

Reviewed By A1inaZ

We visited Glen Eden the last two weekends and had a great time. I’m a novice skier and the reservation and renting process were pretty good. One certainly has to be understanding of rules because of covid... we were asked to wear masks everywhere, the buildings had been maximum occupancy and distancing. Picking up our rental gear was easy and quick, and that team was probably the most friendly and helpful. The skis were great quality Head brand, and everything was clean and sanitized including the helmets. The hills were well groomed and easily marked, and we were made to feel welcome and free as we explored runs. Early to mid afternoon certainly got busy and the lines for the lifts were insanely long, but I suppose it’s to be expected. Rental returns was also easy and quick, oh and all of the restrooms I visited were clean and in working order. I can’t wait to return next season!!
