A most educational retreat from the nearby beach. So much can be learned about the Nanticokes’ contributions, history, and their impact on the local area that children cannot help but be impressed with the artifacts on display. Curator and director, Sterling Street, is a wealth of knowledge, a charming guide, and one who personifies the best of the Nanticoje tribe. June, his assistant, is a personable addition to the visit. The museum is small but the yearly pow-wow is a not-to-miss event.

Beautiful, newly renovated Catholic church. The choir is outstanding. The community is prayerful, friendly and kind. The Pastor's sermons are scripture based and uplifting and relevant.
