Regardless of the season, you will enjoy a visit to Hershberger's Farm and Bakery.
We first hit the bakery and bought some the best donuts ever. Then we shopped in the antique and gift shop followed by the petting farm barns. What fun feeding all the goats, pigs and alpacas and sheep in the back barn. We had a wonderful time there and came away with some of the best donuts in the world.

We toured the home, the barn and the school house and took the buggy ride and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the visit. The tour guides were very informative and interesting, and the grounds are beautiful. Be sure to buy cookies from the bakery there...they are delicious! We spent about 3 hours there and were entertained the entire time! The entire experience cost about $13.00 per person...a great value!

Great biking trail! We did 13 miles the first day (Millersburg to Killbuck and back) and 19 miles day 2 (Millersburg to Fredricksburg and back). Mostly shaded, wide enough for most of the way to ride side by side. Beautiful scenery - farms, animals, nature, birds and Amish buggies! Easy access and several places to stop and enjoy the surroundings. Will definitely do again!

Home of the Original Baby Swiss & 2019-2020 United States Grand Champion! Stop in to view cheese-making (Monday-Friday from 9:00-12:00) and sample over 60 varieties of delicious cheese. Shop cuckoo clocks, steins, local goods, meats, chocolate, and fun souvenirs! Kid-friendly!
The shop is fairly small and do to COVID19 we did I have a wait to get in. They do offer a wide variety of edible/food products (noodles, jams, crackers, candy, etc) other than cheese. Of course, cheese is their big item and have multiple items prepackaged plus an area where they will slice a wide of their different cheeses. In addition, to their own cheeses they also carry Walnut Creek and Troyer's. Along with the cheese they have a wide variety of meats from trail bologna to salami and beef sticks. To serve cheese, they do carry the boards, graters, slicers, fondue, and other unique items. I would highly recommend, but I am a cheese lover and was able to get some cheese that I cannot find in the Akron area.

06/27/2019 It’s that time of year when I take my annual wine trip with friends June 25, 2019 to June 28, 2019. This year we decided to do the Erie New York wine trail, with a stopover in Cleveland Ohio and Amish country near Berlin Ohio. Got here early in the am and asked for a tour from one of the managers. His name escapes me but he has a great southern accent. Great tour!! We thank you for it! Keep up the good work!! Now for the real reason you come here... Of Course for the Cheese. They make a lot of cheese here and have numerous kinds made from the milk of local Amish diaries. The flavors are fabulous Plenty of free samples, what a great place to stop!! Please do not miss it and do yourself a disservice. Plenty of parking in the back.

Troyers Country Market located along Route 39 in the heart of Amish country invites you to take the taste of your Holmes County visit back home. This is the perfect place to stock up on groceries for the coming season-whether it's bulk packaged pantry staples, a case of your favorite pickled beets, or a wheel of cheese. Jerky fans will want to gather up all the varieties of the Troyer Beef Jerky found here. This, and other Troyer foods are created from an old-fashioned recipe and produced by Troyer's. Everything is truly one of a kind! Troyer's Country Market is easy to find on the corner of State Route 39 and County Road 77-Two popular Amish Country routes. Look for the bright red roof!
A must stop is Troyers Country Market. Our visit saw locals and tourists shopping the great variety available. So much to look at and purchase. Prepare to spend some time taking in all the offerings.
