Plaza de la Constitucion is a fabulous square in the centre of Mijas. Lined with shops, cafes and restaurants there plenty to see and do. The horse drawn carriages await to take you on a tour or if you prefer there are donkey tours too. Wonderful place

Nice old church sitting at a high point in The town. Lots of beautiful trees and plants around it. Quite part of town. Recommended.

The views are fantastic here. Can walk around to see from southwest to southeast in the valley below. Also small playground. And ancient wall tower to climb up to see the village Mijas Pueblo.

In the middle of the town, just opposite the excellent town museum, and surrounded by as many eating (and drinking!) places as you could ever want, it comes as a surprise to see this charming little church. Officially a Hermitage rather than a parish church, it has towered above the tiny houses in the narrow streets for well over 300 years. How many births, marriages and deaths has it seen!

Church sits above the mountain village of Mijas and not able to reach it by road . It’s about a 20 minute walk from the town.
