Providing others with a memorable experience is at the heart of Heber Valley Artisan Cheese, a small family dairy farm and creamery nestled in the quaint community of Midway, Utah. For nearly 100 years the Kohler family has been producing premium milk – pure, rich & creamy – to delight their consumers. In 2011, the family built a new creamery and began using their farm’s milk to handcraft and age artisan cheese. Today, visitors can stop by the farm store to sample fresh cheese & handcrafted fudge daily; purchase raw milk, fresh & aged cheeses, handcrafted jam, fudge, cookies and candy. Or grab some famous Aggie Ice Cream, a fresh grilled cheese sandwich or a nice bowl of soup - and enjoy it in our store or on the patio.
Located in a big red barn on River Road about a mile north on Main Street in Midway, Heber Valley Milk & Artisan Cheese is worth a stop when visiting the Midway area. They have a nice variety of locally made cheese, as well as jams, jellies and other product made in the Heber Valley. The cheese curds are particularly good and are offered in a variety of flavors. During the summer months, expect a line at the ice cream counter.

Ice Castles is an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairytales to life. The frozen attraction is located in six cities across North America. Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.
A magical experience for kids and adults! Beautiful sculptures, with lights, music, slides, and more! It was truly amazing. Although it was a bit crowded, everything flowed smoothly with no long waits. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the cost is very affordable.

We brought our skates on our ski trip and made a point to get on this ice. It was my birthday and we had skied Sundance during the day. After a birthday pottery class in the Art Studio, we came back to Midway and grabbed our skates! The staff was friendly and helpful. We wondered about the rough surface comments and we assumed those folks have never skated outside. We joked that they shouldn't skate on a pond! We thoroughly enjoyed our 50 minutes on the smooth ice and then walked a few blocks to our dinner reservations. A lovely evening on the ice!
