Stretching from the wooded Dordogne to the towering peaks of the Pyrenees, this vast region is a popular winter sports destination, but one without the hordes that besiege the Alps. Spring's melted snows lure kayakers and rafting enthusiasts. In summer, amateur and advanced hikers take to the hills.

we visited only one Rass winery, and in the review it was announced that we would visit 3 wineries. I do not like this. It made a bad impression on me that when we arrived at the Rass winery we were greeted with the finding that they had already closed for tourists today, but as a compromise they would take the trouble to open for us. The winery was not typical of Provence. There are also better wineries in the area, I expected more ...

Our family of 8 had a wonderful day in the French Riviera with Catherine. After our tour, we all commented on how organized, knowledgeable and helpful Catherine was as we toured Eze, Nice, Monaco and Monte Carlo. You will not be sorry to invest in this private tour. The needs of our group were met perfectly and many in our group said this was one of the best days in our vacation to Spain, France and Italy. Our favorites? The market in Nice, the village of Eze and the views- WOW! Thank you Catherine for a fabulous day! :-)

Originally I was thinking of getting a bus to Monaco from Nice & so glad I didn’t. This was well worth the money. We were collected from hotel, tour consisted of 8 people in the mini bus, took to the medieval village of Eze which was lovely then to a perfume factory which was interesting & then onto the highlight Monaco, we had time to stop for an hour, watched the change of the guards at the palace, got our passports stamped (I didn’t realise that Monaco was its own country!), then we went to Monte Carlo, drove round the famous Grand Prix track & stopped to check out the casino. Only wished we’d stayed longer in the last 2 stops. Definitely recommend
