Martin Luther is NOT the same historical figure as MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr. Germany is not the same nation as the US. Martin Luther was the great GERMAN reformer of the 1500s. Martin Luther King Jr. was the great civil rights American reformer of the 1960s. I keep trying to help this organization, but they don't seem to worry about trivia like historical facts.

We booked a Localgrapher for a couples shoot in Arizona. The results were okay at best, and we regretted not seeking out an established local in the area. For the price, we received 60 very average choices and the ability to select 35 shots. We couldn’t even find 35 framed correctly. The localgrapher website is also a joke which requires a youtube video to figure out. The UI is terrible and the photos will disappear rapidly so do not wait to download (set aside a couple hours - that’s how bad it is). But really, just avoid. Hire someone directly.

This tour begins in front of Nuremberg Central Station. Meet the guide and the rest of the tour group and roam through the city’s Old Town, admiring the beautiful timber-framed houses and cobblestone streets. Marvel at the massive City Walls of Old Town Nuremberg, which still run for approximately four kilometers. Behind the walls, walk past the Craftsmen's Courtyard, where glass cutters, leather workers, gold and silversmiths, stained-glass painters and other artisans offer their wares for sale. See the gothic St. Lawrence Church, which was rebuilt after World War II; Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt, Germany’s most famous Christmas market; plus Town Hall, German Renaissance artist Albrecht Dürer's house and the Imperial Castle courtyards, to name just some of the attractions.

I was born and raised in Nuremberg and spent most of my life here. Quite some hours herof I spent in the local night life, even as a part time job. As a passionate drinker and enjoyer of beer, especially the world renowned Franconian beers, I have collected quite some knowledge and experience. I'd love to share these with travellers from all over the world and introduce them to the history - and of course to the taste - of these little pieces of hoppy art. And I'll bring the first beer. Depending on season, day and time we'll visit a few pubs and bars which focus on Franconian beer, located in the heart of Nuremberg's old town. The usual starting point is in front of the renowned St. Lorenz Church. We then move between the Artisan's Yard (Handwerkerhof), castle and White Tower (Weißer Turm).

Great day trip from Munich. I always wondered why so many fairy tales originate from Germany. Well, all those castles answer the questions.

Still to this day, in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, the remains of structures located on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds impress visitors with their immense proportions and stand as vivid testimony to the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. Adolf Dassler (known as "Adi") began producing his own sports shoes in the kitchen of his mother's house in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria after his return from World War I. In 1927. During the 1936 Summer Olympics, Adi Dassler headed from Bavaria to the Olympic Village to convince African-American sprinter Jesse Owens to wear his shoes. Owens was the first African American athlete to be sponsored by the Dassler brothers. When the sprinter was awarded four gold medals, success confirmed the reputation of Dassler shoes among the most famous sportsmen in the world, piquing the interest of coaches from various national teams.

My husband and I were spending a day in Munich before flying on to Norway and Iceland in February. We decided to take a tour of Dachau, but our plane would arrive in Munich too late for any of the group tours to the camp. We chose to do an afternoon private tour with Nuremberg Tours. We had flown overnight to Munich and knew we would be up most of the night and the day we were in Munich and having to deal with an early flight out the next morning. We were staying at a hotel close to the airport, but we were to meet our guide at the train station in the city center. This was quite a distance from the city center and the best way to get there was by train. We asked Jason if we could meet our guide back at the train station at the airport because we were unfamiliar with the train system there and would already be very tired. Despite the fact that he had to go well out of his way, Jason, the owner of the tour company, agreed to be our tour guide and meet us at the airport for the afternoon private tour. He was a history major, so knew so much about the city and the concentration camp. He allowed us to take our time, answered our many questions, and gave us a sobering, but memorable visit to pay our homage to all those that suffered there. I highly recommend Jason’s tour company. If you are lucky enough to get him as your guide, I am sure you will walk away from any of the tours he offers feeling like you have a greater insight into the history of the area.

The Major War Criminals Trial was held before the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946. As a result of this trial, Courtroom 600 of the Nuremberg Palace of Justice gained worldwide notoriety. From 1946 to 1949, 12 "Subsequent Trials" were held in the same courtroom before exclusively U. S. American military tribunals. . Still to this day, in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, the remains of structures located on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds impress visitors with their immense proportions and stand as vivid testimony to the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. This area of 4 square miles was intended to be an impressive backdrop for the Nazi party rallies and serve to demonstrate their power not only to Germany, but to the entire world.
