The Strand Theatre, located in downtown Rockland on the coast of Maine, has been entertaining audiences since 1923. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the theater underwent an extensive renovation in 2005, which included new sound and projection equipment, a fully restored interior and exterior, and a bright new marquee. In 2014, the theater became a non-profit organization and is now owned and operated by the Friends of the Strand Theatre. Today, the Strand Theatre is a multi-use venue offering the best of current first-run and independent films, live musical concerts and comedy, simulcasts, educational programs, conferences, and other special events on our stage and screen.
This almost 100-year-old theatre opened a few years after World War I ended! Today, it is refurbished, and shows films, as well as featuring singers and comedy acts—all at very reasonable prices. The renovated bathrooms are welcome and the concessions are very good. And the people that work there are friendly, too.

A Seasonal Dinner Theater in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We celebrate the singers and songs of the Great American Songbook from the 1940's-1970's in our original comedy revues. During late July and early August we offer a carefully selected book musical for your entertainment. Enjoy our three course hot Maine fare dinner, while our Cast, who are also the wait-staff sing a cabaret. Following the second course the cast will depart the auditorium to change into costume to begin the entertainment portion of your evening. We serve dessert to our all guest so even if you are joining us just for the show we will offer you dessert at intermission as well. (Wednesday matinees are available during July and August and feature cold and hot salads and sandwiches.)
Great little dinner theater where new actors can get experience and earn money waiting on tables too.

My husband and I attended 2 performances at this place and were very pleased with both, quality, etc. the opera house is a lovely old building with wood floor and a beautiful bar area upstairs. Nice seating and a comfortable balcony seating. Wonderful way to spend an evening if you’re in the Booth Bay HARBOR area.

Come experience our working Maine farm winery continuing an over 200 year old family farming tradition. We make our wines from the grapes grown in our vineyard as well from Maine wild blueberries grown in our fields. While you are here enjoy the views as you explore the grounds. Have your lunch in the vineyard, you might be lucky enough to see our resident hawk soaring overhead looking for a tasty treat.
This was my husband and I's first time attending this winery and had a great time! The staff were friendly and especially loved their slashes! They had strawberry and blueberry which were both delicious and you could purchase the mix and wine as well. They had small cheese plates to purchase from Appleton Farms (I had the garlic and herb which was delish). There was also cornhole by the tables and plenty of space to social distance without being on top of people.

Historic downtown venue presents live music, films, theater, dance and more, year-round. Originally opened in 1894 and restored to Victorian glory a hundred years later, the Camden Opera House is the go-to for all kinds of entertainment, as well as the annual Camden Conference.
The opera house is an expansive building in Camden holding more than just the opera auditorium. This building has an interesting history and is worth walking around.
