Think you need an ocean for a beach? Think again. There are miles and miles of sandy lakefront beaches in Michigan (thanks to the four Great Lakes that border it). The west coast of Michigan has especially nice beaches—try a rental in Muskegon, Grand Haven or Saugatuck. You won’t need a car when visiting Mackinac Island. In fact, they’re not allowed—this lovely Victorian resort town is pedestrian-only.

Awesome recommendation from Angela at the best Western Plus Hotel. We were looking for something to do and she suggestion this home town theatre that had brought countless hours of movie going to she and her family. We sat in the balcony and wow what great seats. This theatre is run by volunteers and they seem to love what they do. Greta movie selection, super prices and the atmosphere is amazing. Would highly recommend versus the generic big movie theater.

We are a 12 Screen first run moviehouse featuring a theatre menu where we will deliver your food to your seat inside the theatre, or feel free to head up to the 2nd Floor Dinnerhouse located on the 2nd floor for a full food menu, along with a full bar.
If you enjoy films you will love watching them at Sperry’s Moviehouse. Sperrys is located downtown Port Huron near a few local restaurants. There is street parking and a parking lot so it is very convenient. The service here is excellent and it is so nice to see people happy at work. This is very reminiscent to the VIP cinemas in Toronto. The theatres are small creating an intimate and personal viewing experience. The seats are super comfy and row B seats in each theatre have heated seats. I personally am indifferent to the massage feature embedded in the seats. I expected it to feel like spa chairs with the kneading option but the only available option was a vibration type massage. This can be a little distracting if your vibration isn’t on but the person next to you is - as you can hear the movements from their chair. The sound quality within the theatre was perfect - not too loud. There is also a restaurant located here and I am excited to return and try the dining.

The Lyric Theatre is a non-profit organization offering first run, foreign, classic & family favorites movies on Main Street in Harbor Springs, MI. Our three unique theaters each have their own theme & state of the art equipment.
Love the small theater rooms with their local mural paintings on the walls! The large theater seats 200 and has stars, the milky way, and even occasional shooting stars that flash by. The gourmet organic, non gmo popcorn is made with fresh butter and the old time candies, and baked goods, that they sell here are a treat! We especially love that they sell beer, Wine, hard ciders, and white claw drinks. Come early if it is a weekend or holiday since many shows sell out quickly during prime time showings, and summertime high season. The are special matinees for free or $2 that are geared toward kids, special groups or seniors as a community service. Their volunteer staff is very nice too. The only downside here is that it is very expensive if you buys tickets, alcohol drinks, Popcorn and candy. But go ahead and go all out occasionally, especially a couples night out, since is a great cause, and a nice evenings entertainment. Movie selections are both current, and unusual, so we always find something interesting to see. Well worth the trip.

I have been going to this movie theater for years and I love it. Always a great experience. Most theaters have been redone and now there are reclining seats. The popcorn always tastes fresh. I recommend buying movie tickets online through their MJR app to make it easier when you get there. You can avoid the long lines and get tickets before they sell out in a popular movie. There are options to go to an earlier show on weekends and the tickets are cheaper.

This is a special place with wonderful food and excellent service. The cherry pies are absolutely incredible. I love the Cherry Ade. They also sell all kinds of products made with delicious cherries such as jams and jellies. I have been visiting for more than 20 years with my family as a kid and now with my own family. Be sure to visit when you are in Beulah.

One of the few remaining drive-in theaters in Michigan, the Capri Drive-In was named as one of the top 1- drive-ins in the country by the New York Times. Don't miss the opportunity to ezperience this charming, beautifully maintained family-operated attraction. You won't be dissappointed. Showing the latest releses on two huge screens and host to many special events and weekly specials. Now with Digital Projectors.
We take our four kids to the movies quite frequently. We decided to drive from Jackson to Capri Drive-in since they have never been to a drive in before. They had a great time making friends with other kids before the movie started. They also thought that it was pretty cool to see two movies. The snack bar had a quite impressive selection of things to eat or just munch on. We hope to be able make it out to Capri a few times this summer.
