June 9, 2021 Weston Hennigan

Miami is hot hot hot! And it’s not just the sultry weather. Here, the nightlife is scorching, thanks to a strong Latin influence and spicy salsa culture. Dance the noche away in a nightclub, or indulge in a fancy meal at one of the city’s celebrity-owned restaurants. By day, hit the beach of course, or have yourself a walkabout, taking in Miami’s colorful art deco architecture. Grab a Cuban sandwich in Little Havana, then ride the vintage carousel at Virginia Key Beach Park.

Arrive hungry! Loved our guide, Robyn, who has personal history with both Jewish history there and Cuban history in Little Havana. She couldn't possibly be more enthusiastic and knew all the artisans . She took us to so many niches of Little Havana I would not even know existed. Had we just walked around without her tour, we would not know the extent of this preserved cultural glimpse to the history of the people. To get authentic Cuban cuisine like that was awesome. Definitely recommend!. Delicious foods and deserts.! Tour could not have been better. The small group was perfect.

It was way more in depth than I expected. Great introduction to Cuba and how they made America their new home. Everything from the wild chickens to the dispute over where the cubanito was first made.
